I made the decision to purchase this product for one reason, to give me more time in the woods. I happened to have 160-170" ten point making himself visible during shooting light in my woods. I knew the key to killing this buck was not letting him know I was after him and putting as much time on stand as possible to increase my odds. Days leading into the weekend I was disappointed to see the wind direction forecast was not good at all. I needed to be on stand but could not risk the buck smelling me. The day prior I had spooked a smaller buck even though I showered and my cloths were washed in scent free products. Wind was killing my chances.I knew of the Ozonics line and did a lot of research before I committed to spending the $300, ouch! However, this was my only hope to be out on stand. I ordered the unit through Prime and it was at my house in time for my Friday evening hunt. I mounted the unit in my whackshack while I charged the battery. The wind was variable and certainly not in my favor that afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised when deer in the area had no clue I was out there, even as close as 20 yds. I tried again Saturday morning which still had a bad wind. Once again, deer in the area did not smell me. I went back out Saturday evening to try it once again.At this point I will tell you that had I not had the Ozonics unit I would not even attempted to hunt with the bad wind. But once again I had a deer within bow range and it had no clue I was there. Then to my surprise the big ten slowly walked into bow range, and he was downwind of me. I took my shot at a relaxed deer at 23 yards and he didn't know what hit him. 70 yards later he piled up.Bought the unit Wednesday, arrived Friday, killed the biggest buck of my life Saturday. Are you kidding me? How cool is that? Thanks Prime and Ozonics! Is this technology pricey? Yes. But what is your hunting time worth? I may never of had another opportunity at this buck. If you are on the fence to spend the money I would encourage you to do so. I have used it, seen it work and have the proof that it works.It really is easy to use, mount and also quiet, no deer heard it and it did not bother my hearing deer coming in. Follow directions and watch videos on proper set up for your needs. Charging takes a few hours but spare batteries are available. I cannot speak for tree stand use yet but I have faith that it will work just as well. I will also be using it to scent proof my cloths. Get an Ozonics and get to the woods, you never know what you might be missing!

I’m sure many people are skeptical about this working. I’ve used it in the field this entire deer season and will 100% stand behind its effectiveness. I have had numerous deer downwind from me and aside from sniffing the air during wind gusts, I haven’t been busted for my scent yet. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the price. It’s an investment. If you to use it on an all day sit, you’ll need the XL battery that lasts 8 hrs, which is another $125. Be sure you to read on how to use correctly because errors in usage will certainly effect performance. Bottom line, when used correctly, it’s the real deal.

I usually don't do reviews unless it is a superior product I bought OZONICS 230 with XP battery and it lasts on boost mode about 10 hours. It works in snow and rain, just make sure its dry when you turn it on. If its not it will dry its self and makes noises until its dry enough to fire. I don't know if the company even knows this. It usually takes about 20 minutes to go thru this mode. I got so excited when I killed a big buck and forgot it in the tree over night and didn't remember it till I was in bed. It started raining in the night and three inches of snow from the nor'easter. the buck was less than ten feet away and does all around. When I use this product the deer will look right at you and they don't even act like your there. Unbelievable Product, you can even use this product stalking.

I used it for bear hunting this spring; couldn't really tell if it made a difference as I always hunted the wind anyway. Used it in a pop-up ground blind and it seemed loud inside but you really couldn't hear anything from outside of the blind. Be sure to set the unit up downwind of you and have flow through the blind per instructions as the ozone can cause a headache. If you can smell the ozone for any length of time, it's not setup properly. I will use it again this fall whitetail hunting with the Grand kids. This should give me a better idea of how well it really works.Also, go ahead and buy the extended battery if you are hunting for longer periods; the one that comes with the unit will last @ 4 hrs.

This thing is loud! I had high hopes. I bought it at the beginning of season and waited until I gave it a real chance. If you are planning to use it to bow hunt, don't waste you're money. Every deer that came within 45 yards of me spooked because of the noise. It has a mechanical hum that doesn't sound natural at all. Hunting in a blind it did great. I had several deer including an old wary buck come directly downwind. Haven't tried it in a pop up ground blind, but I'm not optimistic that it will be quiet enough.
