My Dogs Love It
My older GSP has thyroid issues so my vet prescribed this brand of lowfat food. The dogs love the flavor and the thyroid numbers are back in line.

This is for pets that have tummy issues. There is no better than Eagle Pac.
My beautiful senior dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis recently. I adopted her last year and because she was place by the courts at the humane society there wasn't a lot of info on her health issues. The pain this beautiful creature would endure was horrible but I have a great vet and we didn't give up. She went through enough. Finally she had an ultrasound during a flair up and the diagnosis was apparent. Her diet had to change or it could mean her life. She already came with a boat load of problems but this one is life threatening. Trying to find a food in general was difficult as she didn't like any dry food at all no matter how expensive. I made all of her food.AIn the meantime I did my research on dry food and pancreatitis and the reviews I read on Eagle Pac were just what I was looking for, but would she eat it. I completely changed her diet still home made but very plain and bland. I also cut the home made food in half and offered her the eagle pac as well. She is on medication that makes her appetite crazy and she loves the kitty food too much and no more jerky treats just dehydrated sweet potatoes and white fish.I didn't expect a miracle but I got one. She loves Eagle Pac and honestly I'm still in shock but I will take it and sm ever so grateful for it.This dog food is priced very reasonable and a 30lb bag goes a long way. The change in her diet has completely changed her personality. She is a different dog and I am so happy that she feels better. You can tell just by her bouncy walk. I recommend this for any pet parent with tummy issues. Thanks Eagle Pac !

My dogs love this food!
My three Blue Heelers love this dog food. Though I have never tasted it, they apparently love the flavor. They use most of the food as it appears at the other end as a fairly small cigar, firm and easy to pick up.

Five Stars
Keeps my boys (just over 2 years old), running on full charge. One of my boys, (both are Airedales-brothers) recently took a perfectly good rock, about the size of a book of matches, and turned it into a $3000 diamond that doesn't shine. In other words he managed to swallow it and ended up blocking his intestine. He needed emergency surgery, which they were able to remove the rock and unfortunately also 4 feet of his intestine due to infection. I won't bother with all the details but it was touch and go for a while. He finally started eating,(after about 7 days-prior/post surgery time, I was about ready for some medications myself by then), the canned "prescription" food from the vet which most vets carry, won't mention the brand. They said he may have to stay on it due to his shortened intestine to be able to process enough nutrients from it. A few weeks after that he stopped eating it altogether and kept trying to get to his brothers food (the Eagle Pack). I had been looking at the can formula, coming to find out it did not have very great ingredients, along with a few other things, and decided to let him try his regular food again. He started eating it like it had the cure in it. He started to gain weight better and had a sharp up tick in energy level, though some of that may still have been coming off the surgery. I checked with the vet and he said it should be fine as long as he seemed to process it ok and got enough nutrients. It is a smaller kibble so was not to worried about it getting through the new intestine connection as much since the vet had said he could have had the dry version of the "prescription" formula. Please do not take this as a medical opinion, you should always check with your vet on theses things, especially with a surgery involved. This was just my view on the quality of Eagle Pack dog food. Glad to say several months down the road and he is doing great, along with myself and his brother, back up to full Airedale speed and energy- yeah, not always a good thing but good to see again.

Reduced fat
Happy to find with low fat content since pup diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. Couldn’t afford prescription food and initially a good value. However couldn’t get a subscription and it went up $10 since last purchase

Love your pets.....you'll love giving them Eagle Pack
I have been a dog owner for 35 years and Eagle Pack is undoubtedly the best dog food I've ever found. My first Basset Hound, Stretch, was suffering from arthritis when he was just 9 years old. The vet said that was normal and that Bassets only live to be 9 - 11 y/o often because the arthritis in their hips gets them down and they just sort of give up. Stretch was my baby, so I was extremely upset to think that I might lose him. I went into a local feed store and the owner told me about Eagle Pack Senior. I started him on it that day and within 30 days, Stretch was hopping around like a puppy. That was in 1999. Stretch lived to be nearly 14 y/o and I honestly credit Eagle Pack for much of that.I continue to feed my dogs and cats Eagle Pack. Currently my oldest dog (Bassett Hound - German Shepard mix) will be 15 y/o on July 4th. Our vets are impressed with how healthy our cats and dogs are. I believe what you feed them has tremendous impact on their overall health and appearance. I've never had a fat animal. Eagle Pack helps them to maintain a healthy weight.Prior to 1999, I fed my dogs a grocery store brand and it went right through them. It might have filled them up hunger wise, but they didn't get much nutrition and pooped out most of it. Probably because there was not enough protein content. This is not the case with EP.I recently came across an article rating dry dog food and yes, Eagle Pack was on the list. And it's American made!

Good quality food at a reasonable price
These were a very good deal when I got them. The product is just what it says on the tin - low fat dog food. It's very obvious when you open it - the kibble is light brown and very dry to the touch.Since I was feeding it to my dog in winter, I supplemented it with some cooking oil to make sure the dog got enough fat.Even at the normal (and reasonable) price, this is a good quality dog food. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy it on sale.

Good digestion, less smelly, better priced
My dog is responding very well to this food. He has finished changing from Royal Canine two weeks ago and from the look of his stool, he's doing very well. Also, the food doesn't smell as strongly as RC did, so it's more pleasant to open the container and deliver the daily ration! All that, for a fraction of the price I was paying at the vet's shop. To top it off, I don't have to carry it on my shoulder or in the baby's toddler since it's delivered at my door, so really, I am extremely happy with this subscription.

Food is good and well priced and my dogs like it
Food is good and well priced and my dogs like it, however it is very annoying that this product,at times, is not available. Is always available at Amazon in the States. Would be a appreciated if Amazon Canada would move to change this!

Not consistent for ordering
My dogs liked this food. It was really unfortunate that it went out of stock shortly after I ordered and then the price skyrocketed. I don't like to switch my dogs' food very often (health issues) so I likely won't go back to this for fear that the same thing would happen. What a tease it was to have it available for so short of a time!
