I bought this hat in khaki for a specific outfit for a specific event this past spring, thinking I’d probably never wear it again. To my surprise, I ended up wearing it frequently this spring and summer.It’s much sturdier than I anticipated, and you really can throw in a suitcase or bag without ruining it. The bow is affixed to the hat, so it stays in place and you don’t have to worry about it coming off.The brim is just large enough to have a somewhat glamorous look, but it isn’t so large that it’s impractical, making this a great, highly wearable floppy hatThe khaki color is universally flattering and highly versatile. It looks great with sundresses of virtually every color or pattern. I’ve also worn the hat in the pool (though I was careful not to get it wet).I’m really happy with how it fits, too. It isn’t tight, but it’s snug enough that it stays in place without blowing off in the wind.I know the listing on Amazon says UPF 50+, but it’s worth noting that the UPF factor isn’t denoted anywhere on the hat’s badging or tagging, which seems a little strange. Not sure if that means anything, but in my experience this hat proves excellent protection from the sun. The material is densely woven, so you get excellent coverage, and the wide brim keeps your face and shoulders protected.The hat is well-made, and I anticipate I’ll get years of use and wear out of it. Highly recommend.

This hat was the perfect size for me!! It was snug enough that it only slipped a little due the strong winds at the beach ONCE! It is the PERFECT beach hat! I’m not usually a hat gal, but I’m a changed woman! It is also super cute and shaded me well! I spent all day at the beach without a sunburn! I haven’t used the neck strap yet because it kind of takes away from the look of the hat. :)

Beautiful sun hat! Can be dressed up or down. Worked perfect with my outfit for an outside barn wedding!! Very sturdy. Didn't get my head too hot and I have a lot of hair. Very well made.

Big hat, offers great coverage, good quality, does as it’s designed to keep sun off her face, neck and shoulders. Nice designed. Nice Bow!! Feels good on and nice weight n size!! She loves it!

I went to a winery/vineyard and wore this hat on a sunny day. I had no issues with the sun and enjoyed my vineyard tour!

I was going to deduct a star for the color; I was looking for a pure, snow white hat (this one is more of a "natural" white, with just a hint of beige to it), but it's a really nice hat, and for the price, it can't be beat. The brim is the perfect size; not too big and not too small. It has a very good stiffness to it. It's definitely not a "floppy" beach hat. It holds its shape while still giving a perfect slight wave to the brim. The actual cap part that sits on your head is a tiny, tiny bit small. I wouldn't wear it out when it's windy. But then again, I do have a slightly larger-than-average sized head. It also has an elastic strap that can go under your chin if you really want it to stay put. Otherwise, the strap can be cut off or just tucked away.All in all, it's a beautiful, quality hat, just not the exact white color I was looking for. Still very happy with this purchase, nonetheless!

It def would protect from the sun well. However, I have a typical size head and it feels too snug. I haven't worn it for more than a few min so I wonder if it would give me a headache bc it is kinda snug. Also as I don't have a long neck, in fact I have a short neck, the the brim on the back does hit my shoulders/back so I wish the brim was about an inch shorter for me. I prob won't be able to wear it with any kind of a jacket on bc of it being such a wide brim and too snug, it would be knocked off easily each time it hits my shoulders, which is any time I dare to look up slightly. It's cute, seems well made. My husband likes it on me.
