Works for my hot flashes
I bought this for hot flashes and I think it’s working! I can’t take HRT anymore and fans aren’t enough. Regular small freezer packs fall off. This fits a little loosely but it’s comfortable.

Pros & Cons / comparing to competitor
Universal note: both fit my head and I have a big head :)Migrastil MigraFreeze Deluxe Headache & Migraine HatPro:- Removable cold packs (so you could wash the cap, probably!)Con:- Cold packs don't span the whole cap's coverageOther:- You can wear it while doing other stuff (I've worn while driving on hot summer days)vsONLYCARE Migraine Relief CapPro:- Texture is really nice (though might not stay cold super long)Con:- Goes over eyes (too cold for that!)Other:- Doesn't cover the top of head / is more like a very wide bandWhich am I keeping?- Both! Partially cuz I had the old one for a while and like the new one, but they also work for different situations, and you can swap them out while the other is in the freezer so you always have one ready :)

Love it
Never thought I would like to put a cold wrap on my head. However, this one is the first thing I reach for when I feel a migraine starting or whenever I can get home to it. I choose this one because I wanted one with ice packs also across the top of head, not just around the sides. It works wonderfully. I fold a small hand towel up and stick it inside the cap and then place it in a gallon size ziplock in the freezer. This way the ice packs (especially the top ones) don’t get distorted once frozen and it doesn’t take up a lot of room in the freezer because it is still mostly flat. It is large enough to cover my head and top of neck. It is versatile, I rotate it front to back depending on where I want it to cover most at that time. Thank you for making a quality product for migraine patients.

Cheap and uncomfortable
It will not fit you like it does in the picture. The cap is made of the finest fabric, holes will appear in a matter of days. The ice is not firmly in place, it will freeze and be jagged.

Doesn't stay cold long
Starts cold but quickly losses temp maybe a half hour if your lucky

Wish it had more ice pack.
There seem to be 3 ice packs inserted into the hat: one paddle-shape on the top that extends down the front and two rounds on the side. There is a distinct lack of ice pack where my eyes are - which is unfortunately the #1 place I need the ice pack to be when suffering from a migraine!! So this is only sort of helpful. It needs to be augmented with a second ice pack. Also, the ice packs are kind of small, light, flimsy-ish. They need more mass to provide more cooling relief. I also don’t think these will last very long before breaking. There’s a bit of finagling that needs to be done to get them into the right shape, and the thin plastic material may not hold up for too long.

GODSEND!!
I didn’t buy this right away and my daughter asked me to buy it after I was telling her about it. Let me tell you guys, this product is a GODSEND!!! It’s cold out and I had a horrific headache after being head butted in the nose by my huge pitbull when I was trying to kiss him. Anyways, the gel was already cold inside and I took it out and used it immediately! I needed this product ,like I need water! It is absolutely incredible and I believe every house should have one !!! DO BUY THIS!
