Cade has been obtained by steam distillation of juniper wood (Juniperus oxycedrus) giving a smoky aroma similar to the smell of bonfires. I use it diluted with my favourite carrier oil, sweet almond, for scalp conditions as it has very good antiseptic properties and helps me feel relaxed and calm.Greenwood Essential have produced this oil in a glass bottle which I prefer, they use a tight closing plastic top, however this oil is so powerful that I could smell it without opening the top. Unfortunately the top is not a child safety cap so it is important to make sure that it is kept out of reach and out of sight of children.There is some safety information on the bottle however Greenwood Essential have given a lot more vital information online in the ‘Essential oil Quick tips for using essential oils safely’ page which cover many more aspects. I recommend anyone new to aromatherapy to read them as it’s too easy to underestimate their potent effects.I received the 30ml bottle currently priced at £ 9.49. The bottle I received was packed March 2021 and has an expiry date of Feb 2024. I had very fast delivery.

Good in combination with cedarwood and also in mixtures for skincare. I can recommend a few drops in the diffuser with cedarwood, lavender and Frankincense oil.

Unlike the normal Juniper essential oil which has a spicy scent to it, this species of Juniper oil is distinctly smoky, like burnt wood. It has a variety of applications which the user is advised to research.I really like this company because from what I can tell, they seem to offer every oil available at reasonable prices (for the most part) and excellent quality. I have now been able to add some more exotic oils to my collection, of which Cade was on my list to get, which I would not be able to find with other companies.

The oil delivery was fast. The packaging is very beautiful. There is a special oil dispenser in the box for more convenient oil dispensing. Oil of orange-brown oily consistency, liquid with a natural odor. I use the oil medicinally for wounds and bruises, as it has a disinfectant and healing effect! I advise!
