some unknown american ingredients, chapters of books between recipes were annoying
I disliked the sprinkling of chapters of stories between each recipe they were annoying and unnecessary. I skipped those in the end. Some of the recipes were alright, but obviously being american some of the ingredients are unknown outside of that country.

You can,t buy some of the ingredients in Britain
There are some recipes that I would like to make in this book but there are two problems. One they are all quite high in calories and quite a few have ingredients that we cannot buy in Britain. I will try some later when I have lost all the weight I put on over Christmas.

Great taste teasers Cozy Mysteries with Recipes thrown in
This is a great way to provide teasers for a variety of super sleuths in action. The recipes are enticing too! These snippets are excerpts from over 50 books written by this American Christian author. My favourite was the story of a honeymoon in a magical town. The end of the book outlines a little about each of the Sleuths with a cartoon image to complete the connection with each series. These characters are mature and experienced, facing life’s challenges head-on.Gloria Rutherford-Kennedy from the ‘Garden Girls’ series.Mildred Sanders from the ‘Cruise Ship’ series.Carlita and Mercedes Garluicci are mother and daughter investigators in the ‘Made in Savannah’ series.
