this is about as comfortable as it gets - i am a fan
I am the type of person who enjoys both ends of the spectrum when it comes to loos or tighter fitting clothing. I am all over the place in relation to what i wear depending on my mood or the weather. While i have veered into more slim fitting gear as my dominant choice this was not always the case. For most of my life minus the last five years or so i like baggier clothing. This may be due to growing up in the nineties and early 2000's where that was common place. I still enjoy super baggy clothing to the extent of it going into either African or Indian fashion. For many years i worked at an Indian owned hotel where i found myself becoming jealous at the gear certain family members of the property owner were wearing. This jealousy was due to how comfortable they looked when in a dashiki like garment. Being that i grew up in America a garment like that was more associated with a dashiki and the nineteen seventies. What is great about me being near forty is i do not care about what i wear in the sense of a norm. What i mean by this is i have no problem wearing something way out of my dominant socio-cultural sphere. This is where this vibrant looking African Dashiki suit comes into effect. I wore this to the store and received a few glances that seemed on the verge of laughter but i do not care. I am starting a new trend and i recommend everyone jumping on board. I am being totally honest when i say this garment is of supreme comfort in that the pants have so much air flow and room it reminds me of a martial arts uniform minus the thickness. I referred to this as vibrant which was an interesting use of terminology because the main color of this is black. What makes it vibrant is the shiny blue color and pattern of the chest area. Tis seems metallic from a distance but when close up it looks plastic. I love the visual effect from both vantage points and think the lighter blue works very well here. I like how the sleeves become tighter as they near the hand region which contributes to keeping you warm. I like how the chest area has buttons that travel about half way down making this ideal for hot days as well as colder days. This garment works kind of like a professional surfing wet suit in that it has benefits for a super hot day or if there is some wind or a chill in the air. If it is windy and kind of nippy out the loose flowing material acts like a windbreaker. When it is super hot the excess fabric works to deflect the sin rays- even with it being a dark color. In conclusion i am very satisfied with this Dashiki shirt and pants set and recommend it.
