The aesthetic and tactile quality of these red carbon fiber paddle shifters is great. The intensity of their red hue is dynamic, subtly shifting from a dark red tone to a bright, vibrant one, depending on the interplay with the ambient light.

The upshift paddle was missing the alignment Lug, presumably from the manufacturing process, because it seems to have been cut out and ground down. Would love a correct replacement in order to give these a try. However as of now these will be returned and I will be looking elsewhere for a quality paddle shifter replacement for an R8.

If you love carbon fiber you will not be disappointed with these. They are just large enough for you to feel as you turn the wheel but not to large that they block your cluster view. I find myself playing with the smooth cool backing all the time. Not just your cheap stick on, you must take off the airbag to get to the wiring and screws. This will be the hardest part, so you can do the replacement. Once they are on you'll be grinning through the turns.

They do not fit Audi B9 RS5. Waste of money

Only two clicks after installing them, one of the paddles dropped to the floor, it came lose from the plastic hinge that attaches to the mechanism.Carefully I scuffed the surfaces then clean them and after that CA glued them. Just like new.They have a nice gloss and weave to them.

Half cheaper than the full metal alternatives. Definitely feels lightweight compared to a real carbon metal piece, so durability could be a concern. this does not fit a 2018 Audi RS3 8V.5 as you can see in the photos.
