I haven’t had a single piece chip yet and I bought them about two years ago, stored them, moved around a bunch and then started using them about 7 months ago and drop them in my metal sink often with no problem . As I’m sure I’m getting lucky I think they’re incredible and adorable!

I ordered two sets of these from Walmart since they were not in stock here. After getting them, decided a third set would be wise and ordered them from here instead. They did not come in the same box. The Walmart set came packed in the box you would see on the shelf, glossy, with photos and the like, packed inside another box. Nice corrugated plate dividers.These came only in one generic green printed box, with thick strips of cardboard between them. So not the same box, not the same packing. I noticed quickly that two items were chipped and agreed to a new shipment instead of a refund ( they did not want the items returned). After examining them closer I noticed fish eyes and chunks in the glaze. The glaze also seems thinner as well. The bowls didn't seem to have problems. At that point I wished I had gone for the refund and reordered from Walmart, deciding these were seconds and the next box would be too. They arrived promptly as well and while not chipped, still had flaws in the glaze, tho not as bad as the first box. They are probably still a good value except for the fact you can get the first quality ones for the same price. The dishes themselves are nice. A great size, especially the bowls. I am obviously happy with the set as I ordered a third ( and fourth). This listing needs to be marked as seconds.

I had been searching for several months for new Dinnerware to replace our old set. We’d had our old set for over a decade but in the end it was chipped, cracked & it began to break in the dishwasher. It was time to replace it. I originally found a gorgeous set of Leaf Shaped Opal Glassware from Matashi through Amazon. It was deeply discounted for the Holidays, so I bought 2 big sets, but then I realized that though it is stunning, and sets a fancy table, it is not practical for every day use, and my husband is 6’5” and 300lbs and he looks like he’s using children's play dishes! Hence the search, which led me to the Gibson DishWare Service for 4. It’s lovely in its simplicity, sturdy and big enough for my Hubby’s massive paws, especially the bowls. He’s very happy! It’s Oven, Dishwasher & Microwave safe. I purchased 2 Sets @ $17 for each set. The price is a steal for a quality product. The only thing that it does not have compared to other sets are coffee mugs/cups. I don’t drink coffee and I have multiple Tea Services and a Keurig for hot beverages, so I It was definitely not a deal breaker for me! It’s a great set of Dishes for every day use and we will enjoy using it for many years to come!

Love the look of these dishes. And you can’t beat the price! My only complaint is that it scratches easily by knives and forks. It leaves grey markings. But - my MIL’s very expensive white dishes did that. I’m told Bon Ami or I think a Mr Clean sponge will remove the marks. Not a deal killer for me. I would and have reordered.

I looked for a long time for some plain white dishes with just a touch of “trim” that Didn’t include cups and saucers (which we never use). These fit the bill perfectly with the thin multi raised bands on the edges of the plates and around the bowls. They are sturdy enough for every day and look timeless on my holiday dinner table. The price was also excellent. I bought 3 sets which gave me a service for 12 of the pieces we use everyday.

Great quality! But I didn’t realize that it doesn’t come with coffee mugs! And trying to find matching mugs is proving to be difficult. On the other hand, I had ordered a full set of a similar style made by Gibson, & the color was bang on! Yes the designs are different, but the quality, color & different design went together perfectly! They are heavy though, but that’s the great quality! Very happy with purchase aside from no cups! (I should’ve read more carefully).

Beautiful dishes but one run through the dishwasher and all the lettering came off the bottom and one use with a regular knife left dark scratches . Brand new plates now look old . Very unhappy with the quality for the high price .

I really like the set. Seems durable so far but there were a few blemishes on some pieces. None the less, nice set for the money. I bought 2 sets from the store and 2 sets from Amazon and no difference (except for a little bit more on Amazon)I wish I could find mugs to match!

I purchased the white set and the plate came and it has a lot of discolouration and look like it was being used. The dinner plates has dark spot and fine holes. I didn’t look at the rest If I didn’t tape the box up I would upload pictures.

Love these dishes. They are sturdy and look lovely when serving company. They came very well packaged. I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada and there was not a scratch or chip on them! Bravo🤗❤️
