These are awesome! They saved us in freezing cold weather at a Green Bay Packer football game. Just warm them up before game. They do take a few minutes to really heat up.

They look fine, but I have not used them yet. I got them for emergency use. I hope they'll work. I got a strange note from the seller telling me they are out of date, but they will work fine just be sure to shake them. At least, that's what I got out of the broken English in the note. So I looked, and there is an expiration date on the individual packages inside the box. I've been torn between taking their word for it or returning them. Why are they still listed if they have no current in-date product? After all, if I need them during a power outage to keep warm, it's too late if they don't work. They are too expensive to "test" them by using one or two. I looked at another brand, but the large size gave off too much heat and burned some people. I didn't want to risk that either. I decided to keep these and hope for the best. I'll probably sacrifice one before next winter to see if they still work.

Great idea in theory, but they never got hot enough to keep us from being cold, they were more like slightly warm.
