New England Waterfalls

Amazing and very detailed book, I'm canadian and only 1 month and a half after I recieved this book, I already went to the US to saw at least 7 of the waterfalls and cascades mentionned in the guide, an amazing way to discover these states closed to Canada.

This is one of the best books for finding Waterfalls in New England. They also have a website that is first rate. Plenty of color photographs along with GPS coordinates makes this a MUST have book. Good easy to read directions that also tells you how far of a hike, how long of a hike and whether you'll be going up or down hill. Also rates the waterfalls by stars (1 through 5 with 5 being the best). The only downside of the 3rd edition is they took away nearby waterfall locations that the 2nd edition had.Summary: Want to find waterfalls or swimming holes in New England this is THE book to get!

I love the new waterfalls this book brings. Also the color photos are really nice. This book reads a bit different than the last edition, but still has very good information and directions. This pair really puts in good "extras" about the falls and address issues that one may have finding them. My previous edition is "dog eared" w/ dates when I visited, w/ whom and how good it was. I'm looking forward to going to the new falls and revisiting my favorites :)))

A great little book, such a variety of types of landscapes. I have used it in my painting and drawing classes as well as a reference for outdoor sketching. A must to own.

I didn't dislike anything about the book, I saw it on Chronicle & I bought it for my son & his family that often go North for Family Days & they used it right away.Unexpectedly plans got canceled early with another family & they had put the book in the glovebox, took it out & bingo planned & enjoyed the rest of the time with the aid of the book.An excellent purchase for those who love the outdoors.
