Classic Timex doesn’t disappoint.
When my Apple Watch died, I decided not to get another smart watch; however, I liked keeping track of my steps. This Watch does a very good job of that, and records for up to 7 days of steps. The battery lasted about a year-which was all right. (2032 battery, also used in my car key fob). I forgot how nice it was not to have to charge my watch every other day. The back, where one replaces the battery, is not quite as sturdy as I would’ve liked. Be careful using anything remotely sharp to untwist the backing. It’s sensitive and will shred the plastic material. I was able to file it down and soften it, but I’ll have to be careful when replacing my battery in a year or so.Very happy with my purchase, I’ll likely buy one again just like this. The Rose Gold has held up well over a year, the colors are nice, and it’s lightweight. I also like the Water resistance feature! Bathtub, pool, lake, ocean, handwashing-the Iron Man watch can handle it. The button commands are a little different from previous years in Ironman watches(due to step count addition feature), but pretty easy to figure. Happy step-counting customer. *pic show 21-k steps

Poor quality
It only worked for about 2 weeks until the screen started randomly turning off. At 3 weeks it completely died. Though it says it is water proof, it seemed to have water inside after normal pool swimming.

Good at telling time but not the rest of the functions
It is a good watch if you just want to check the time. I never could get the heart rate function to work and the step counter is very off. My work doesn’t allow Bluetooth connected smart devices like watches or phones. Wish the functions worked better then it would be a great alternative for me.

Great overall
Had the older version of this watch. Finally gave out and got this new one. So far I love it. It sucks that it doesn’t come with instructions. The instructions are actually on the website. But I’ve stayed true to this brand. Gifted my son one and my mom. All different models but same quality brand

Not Great
It never came with a user manual. I never used any of the functions because they always seemed complicated. The HR never worked either. The chime would chime during strange hours and I was unable to turn it off at all. After 6 months the whole thing stopped working. It just started resetting itself over and over. I am unable to use it anymore and now need to buy another watch. Online the manual says the battery should only be changed by a jeweler or other professional.

HEART RATE MONITOR DOES NOT WORK
I purchased this watch twice. One of the timesAmazon sold me a used watch. I don't want someone's sweaty, fitness watch...Aside from that, color is deeply inaccurate. First ordered the plum colored one to find out it's hot pink. Gross. Then ordered the "blue" watch, which looks in the picture like a dark navy almost black. Turns out it's bright turquois green with pink buttons. I'm keeping it because I'm done being yanked around over a cheap watch, but I'm feeling hoodwinked on color. The size is perfect and as described. I would describe it as medium small face. Plenty of adjustability in the watch band for larger and smaller wrists. The heart rate monitor does not work. I've tried it 20 times. One time it gave me a reading that said my wresting heart rate (normally around 60-70) was 200. The rest of the time it gave no reading or "do not move". Note that I never moved. I was as still as I possibly could be. If it did work, you need to push and hold the button for 10 seconds while remaining perfectly still. Which makes the feature completely useless if you were working out.The pedometer is not accurate. Off by as much as 30%.Not a good watch.

Okay for step counting.
It is a pretty watch and seems to count steps okay, but it does not have GPS for distance and the distance is wildly inaccurate for running. It apparently uses step counting to determine distance, but there is no way to input your stride so it can only be ballpark at best when you walk and wildly inaccurate when you run. I ran my usual 2.9 mile route and it read 1.79 miles for distance. I will buy a G-Shock Casio with GPS and give this to a friend who only wants to count steps. I did like the heart rate monitor. It worked fine for me.
