Not for hiking breakfast
Since all these reviews seem to be for all various flavors and types, this is for cheesy scrambled eggs.Following some reviews that said these taste bad, I opted for the cheesy version, as we all know cheese fixes everything. My hope was these could serve as breakfast on backpacking trips. I follow the instructions meticulously and this just doesnât seem to be the case.I wouldnât call these eggs when cooked by simply boiling the bag in water, they always come out like cheesy potato soup. A few reviews have said these taste bad, thatâs not the case, they just donât taste like eggs. I think they taste like KFC macaroni and cheese.I will keep experimenting and if I find a secret will follow up, but IMO these are not eggs for breakfast. I think Iâll try some macaroni, or use them as a savory cheesy thickening agent in other recipes, but I donât consider them a valid meal, or anything more than an ingredient.Summary, there a decent quality and a decent synthetic cheesy taste, theyâre just not eggs for breakfast.UPDATE: tried making these like âregularâ eggs - mixed per directions, whipped and fried in a pan. As the steam boils off youâre left with the clumpy bits youâd expect. Tastes good enough. So, ignore any crazy instructions about boiling and massaging freezer bags, just pan fry and thatâll get you close.

Not for camping as advertised
Advertised as for camping but requires several things like cooking oil, ziplock bag and pot that bag will fit inside that you would not have hiking and camping.

A Field test just didn't go right
Even though I added very little water to it it still came out very runny and they didn't seem to be a very consistency of an egg so when I frost it up it still came out to be a real Frosty it wasn't more of a an egg batter or an egg mixture it was more like liquidy egg. But I learned my lesson I'll try to get a different kind!
