I have drop foot and can't move my ancles are toes would this help?

This is Rick from Ultra Ankle.  All our ankle braces have a hinge, so they allow full up and down ankle range of motion.  With this hinge feature our braces will not limit your drop foot condition.  However, the Ultra Zoom does provide great side to side stability which some drop foot patients have found to be beneficial when walking. Will this stabilize the peroneal tendon that runs along the outside surface of the ankle?

Hello David. I am one of the athletic trainers at Ultra Ankle that help individuals select and fit Ultra Ankle braces. Although the Ultra Zoom is not designed specifically for Peroneal Tendonitis (no ankle brace is) it will help improve the condition by stabilizing the ankle from excessive twisting and turning that would normally place more stress on the Peroneal Tendon. Does this brace work well for people with atfl laxity and anterior ankle impingement?

I think so as it reduces the lateral flexibility of the joint.   It would depend on the complexity or your injury and if it was chronic or not.  Ask your Physical Therapist  or orthopedic specialist.

I have a plate with 8 screws on the lower end of my fibula, will this brace work for me?
