It is the item on the right. It works perfectly. Item on the left is a knockoff and will not tighten, causing the acid to drain through.

the kit is fine, but the lubricant that is needed after the salt cell has been cleaned was never delivered to my home, were home that day. I notified you once and have never heard back.

Not bad but was not able to stand on its own.

Is the overpriced? Yes it is. Should this come with a $900.00+ Salt Cell, Yes it should. Did I try a generic product becuase I was disappointed with Pentiar for not bundling this with my salt cell and charging so much for it. Yes. Did the generic one work. Nope... it leaked. So I bought this. It is overpriced and should have been bundled. It is expensive and I am worried I might have misplaced it... but it works. Cleaning the salt off your salt cell is necessary to get decent chlorine generation and to not have your cell die young. So in the end you are stuck. Pool ownership was never supposed to be cheap.

Fit perfectly quality, as described.

I bought an aftermarket one that claimed to fit, but the thread pattern was wrong. This fit and worked perfectly for me.

So the product was great, and besides a little shipping issue the seller did respond and it was delivered a day early. so with that I'm pretty happy. here is the most important thing, The part does fit an IC40, there are a couple of sellers on Amazon that are trying to pass off other caps and they are not fitting the IC40 but these guys are legit!

Does its job. Keeps acid from leaking out and making a mess while cleaning the cell. Doesn't need to doore them that, so great!
