Gas cap does not fit 2009 r6, gasket does not even match up with the new set either. Ignition work and allows the bike to run, seat lock works fine. Please get back with me and let me know if you have gaskets fir this gas cap, had to sand down the locking mechanism on it but I made it work due to already replacing the ignition.

This kit is NOT "one size fits all"! I have a 2002 YZF-R1, and the issues I had are as follows.Ignition Switch - This kit is for the four-wire version. On my bike, I had 5 wires. It turns out the orange wire on my bike was for Parking Lights. This kit does not accommodate that function. If you have this wire and want to use the lights, you will have to wire and install a switch yourself. Because the connections did not allow for that 5th wire, I ended up having to cut the connections off and connect the wires with solder and shrink wrap. The aggravating part of this install was I had to take off my airbox to get to the connections, which I could not use, wasted teardown. Otherwise, it fit as intended, and the other wires matched and work as intended.Gas Lock - This is not the same fitment as the OEM. First, you will notice there are 7 screws; my bike had 5. with that said, they only send you 4 screws to attach the gas cap to the tank. The other screws are "dummy" screws. I ended up having to go to the hardware store and buying the 3 other screws. By providing a small screw for the internal attachment point, adding 3 more of those screws would have made this complete. The second issue I have is the gas cap/lock part does not lay flat. It sticks up about 2 millimeters on the front side. To some, it would not be a bother, but in my case, it bothers me.Seat Cowl Lock - This was where my irritation elevated. This lock was not meant to be for my particular bike. My lock is on the side of the bike under the seat. It has a cable to the seat cowl locking mechanism. So when you unlock it, you turn counterclockwise, the cable needs to be pulled forwards. This lock turns clockwise, and there is no way to reverse the lock. I ended up having to turn the lock 180 degrees, bend the cable bracket on the lock to get the cable into its spot, then bend back. This did not allow me to use the cable holding bracket; it is now 180 degrees (bottom) from where it needs to be. This also created an issue with the not lock freely turning because it was hitting/rubbing the enclosure's bottom.I got all of these parts to work, not ideal, but I will eventually live with it. If you need this kit, I would definitely do more research, see if others fit better. If it weren't for the fitment issues, I would have given this 5 stars.

Ignition worked perfect gas cap worked but had to do some trimming on the factory rubber gasket to be able to fit this gas cap. Other than that perfect product got it like a week sooner than expect too! Would have gave it 5 stars if I didn’t have to do any trimming.

Decent quality for the price, arrived on time. Only thing I would ask to be included is the rubber gasket for the fuel tank door, it's a universal part stock gasket dix not fit.All in all a great buy.

The gas cap fit perfectly with no modifications. Great value and price.
