XWF refrigerator water filter Compatible with GE XWFE water filters (2 PACK)

They are a little on the pricey side but I feel the Fridge cost 3K and will live with it, I have used Amazon high end on other units and will probable do that when the warranty is over.

I liked the product because it was compatible with the GE refrigerator filter and it cost less from Amazon.

It was ok to installI am 5ft4 and it is hard for me to reach

The filter works in the fridge, while aftermarket ones do not due to the computer chip in the filter.

Despite what the product description says, this filter is not Cafe compatible. I purchased it based on the description, installed it, but the water and ice dispensers did not work. After trying to work with it for a while and considering contacting a plumber, ended up purchasing a certified GE filter which worked. Now, after more than a month, I'm stuck nearly $100 in the hole with these filters that don't work and cannot get a refund because it's been more than a month. Don't waste your money on these ineffective filters. Cafe/GE filters have a chip in them to make them compatible, other filters don't work and are a waste of money.

I bought a two pack of these filters for a refrigerator under a year old. I installed the filter under the manufacturer’s directions. I knew I had done it correctly, but the refrigerator wasn’t registering there was a new filter installed. I called up GE, and to my shock, the first question I was asked was where I purchased the replacement filters. Well it turns out Amazon is NOT an authorized distributor (nor any individual sellers who sell on Amazon). The reason my refrigerator wasn’t registering the new filter was because there are no chips in bootleg items. I was also advised the filters are ONLY sold in packs of ONE or THREE. A two pack should’ve been a dead giveaway- but I had no idea we’re now dealing with bootleg refrigerator filters smh… Amazon was very kind as usual and refunded me. I recommend anyone with a newer refrigerator, or one that has a lcd display to buy their filters either from wherever they purchased their refrigerator, Home Depot or Lowes (as directed to me by GE).I always try to keep others from making the same mistakes I did.
