Measured as you suggest: 4.75 in. Outside diameter: 3.25 in. Wall thickness: .125 in. Height: 3.875 in. Capacity: about 12.5 oz. (Not 14 oz. as claimed)

they are not flat bottom, so wont work well with mug warmer

Q: Do these mugs have mirror finish on inside and outside?

They are Not mirrored finish. More like a BRUSHED look. They wash great. Coffee or tea does stain after awhile but I use a brillo pad to remove stain. These mugs really keep HOT & COLD

Q: Do edges get hot when you take a sip ?

Not that you would notice. Very comfortable to drink from. Easy to sip without drip. Look good too.
