You list your product as a leave-in re-conditioner, why is your product different from others?

Not all leave-in conditioners are created the same.  Conditioner is the key word.  Condition means to make something feel good, we re-condition, rebuilding and revitalizing the damaged hair from the inside out.  Our plant based Keratin protein matches the hair’s Keratin by 98% and our NanoTechnology penetrates the hair shaft and NanoMesh closes the cuticle.  We can re-build your hair shaft by 75% and with continued regular use your hair can be repaired and stay that way.  Other products coat the hair and wash off with each shampooing, our Essence remains within the hair shaft.  The question is:  Do you want your hair to be re-built and feel and look wonderful or just coated and remain dry and brittle and prone to breakage?

What is nano Keratin treatment oil?

This is a frequent question asked of me and it is hard to answer without getting too technical.  Basically, our product lifts the cuticle layer of the hair and inserts restructuring ingredients and then closes the cuticle and puts a Nano ["Nano" means one-billionth, therefore one nanometer is one-billionth of a meter. ... There are 25,400,000 nanometers in one inch. A human hair is approximately 80,000- 100,000 nanometers wide.] mesh –think screen- over the cuticle layer that holds down the cuticle and keeps everything inside.

A more technical response:
Our fiber expander expands the hair cuticle and inserts the conditioning ingredients.  These ingredients; Keratin Amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids and Vitamin E-A-B-C penetrates the cortex layer of the hair.  Then our S-methicon, Argan oil, Oleic acid, and Linoleic creates a nano mesh complex that closes the cuticle layer to give the hair a shinny brilliance with manageability with bounce and body.

Your instructions say to use a non-conditioning shampoo, what is that?

Conditioning shampoos contain ingredients that coat the hair to make it feel more soft and manageable, but it is only a temporary fix to the problem.

Mark Polin Potion Treatment Essence needs to penetrate the cuticle layer of the hair and deposit our ingredients inside the cortex layer and then our product places a Nano mesh –think screen- around the hair to keep the cuticle layer closed and the ingredients and moisture inside the hair shaft layer to give the hair a shinny brilliance with manageability with bounce and body.

So, it is very important that your shampoo does not coat the hair in any way, especially with silicon.  Some conditioning shampoos take a few shampooing to remove the residual coating.
When all the coating is removed, then use Mark Polin Potion Treatment Essence as directed.

Question 4

It appears this has synthetic fragrance. Correct?

Thank you for your question.  Yes, we use a hyperallergic fragrance that is synthetic.  When we developed our product, we found using a natural fragrance oil did not give us the desired end effect we were looking for.  So we then turned to a synthetic fragrance that was hyperallergic.  By doing so, we have achieved our desire to rebuild damaged hair and have a fragrance that dissipates quickly and is hyperallergic.
