Works great and easy to install!
We have used this type of receipt printer for years at a park district fitness center and have had no issues with them. Easy to use and easy to change the paper roll.

Good printer though not trivial to setup
I purchased a Royal POS1500 and needed a high quality kitchen printer to work with it. Royal support was absolutely no help in finding an impact kitchen printer so when I bought this it was one of those "well if it doesn't work with the POS then I'll just have to return it" deals. Well even though figuring out to print to it from the POS1500 was a bit challenging, I finally got it to work. I used the web interface to set a static IP address and then turned dip switch 4 off to put it into ESC/POS Mode.

Easily paired with Square register
We use this in our mobile food kitchen for fairs and festivals. Paired immediately and works great. Very durable through 900 orders over 9 days of a recent county fair. Great product.

Seller is not helpful
Be careful to buy this product, it’s not working and the seller asked you to pay for the return and it will cost you $120 to ship this item back!

Good and heavy duty printer
It is a great, heavy duty printer. Love that they put the adapter under the printer for saving the space and protect the adapter from unplugged. But, by doing that, it is risky that the power being unplug easily.The printer is bulky, bigger than Epson TM. Easy to reset and set the IP. Just follow the youtube and many manuals on Google. Star never changed the way you set the IP, so don't worry about the model. It is similar.

Works great with Clover products.
We had to get a the newest Clover system when our old POS died randomly (it was ancient) and our old kitchen printer didn't mesh with it. This one works perfectly - pulled it out of the box, plugged it in and no worries since.
