I changed the coolant temperature sensor in my Vauxhall Corsa and after turning off the engine warning light it has stayed off since. The only issue I had was I thought the o-ring was slightly too thick so I had to push exceedingly hard to get the sensor in. Also, it does not come with a spare retaining clip so don't lose the one your car is using at the moment.

The garage was quoting over £250 to replace these. Took half an hour to do it myself

The retaining collar doesn’t go far enough so the coolant leaks once the engine is started. The original (last photo) goes deeper into the socket in the radiator and the collar isn’t tapered like the replacement unit. The diameter of the retaining collar on the replacement sensor is slightly larger than the original.Utter waste of time and money, don’t buy.

This item is excellent value at almost a quarter of the price of other items. It fitted perfectly and resolved the EOBD fault on my 2917 Corsa.
