Good for even long soaking. May need a little TLC if you want to use many times.
These are great soaking boots. They do leak a little, though, so depending on how long you need to soak, you might want to be prepared to refill them at some point. I used them to soak for an hour, and they did pretty well, but subsequent soaks, they ended to leak more. I've been thinking I might need to get some waterproofing to put on them to help. Otherwise, they are really good, and I would buy them again for sure. Oh. and they would fir just about any size foot. Probably not a draft. possibly a draft cross, and for sure and of the larger breeds.

So easy to use
These are great for soaking feet. My horse has huge feet and these are so easy to put on. And I don't have to worry about him kicking over a bucket. These are great for soaking more than one foot at a time. You also use a lot less product than you would if you were using a bucket.

If I was the equestrian Oprah I would give this product to my whole audience!
This is an amazing product. I needed something to soak horse feet in epsom salt and it is brilliant. Horses can pick up and put down their feet and barely any water sloshes out. I recommend this product to all of my horse friends!

Leaks like a sieve after 2 uses.:(
The idea is great, the quality is not. the plastic lining tore after two uses. Yes the seams were reinforced but the lining tore along the edge of the reinforcement. Unshod hoof, freshly trimmed. Guess we will find our own heavy duty plastic bag to put in it. High price for product that doesn't last any longer than this.

Looks better than it is
Did not buy from amazon; got 2 of these a few years ago. First use was terrific. Second use, fluid seeped through some. Third use, fluid came through all but the bottom section (which meant enough was soaking the sole of the foot which was where it was needed). Fourth use, I put a heavy pastic bag inside the boot and it didn't lleak. Fifth use, the bag leaked. The exterior fabric is durable but the fused waterproof lining comes apart from the fabric exterior layer. Ridiculous. They are made for 1200-pound horses to stand in on hooves with edges! I'll continue to use mine with heavy plastic bags, because I don't use them often and don't think paying for a new boot every year is a goid use of money.ADVICE FOR USE: when soaking, put horse foot into the empty boot; then add the liquid. I have found horses mind the liquid coming into the boot much less than they mind setting their foot into the liquid.Photo #1 is how boot looks and should look. Photo #2 shows how the waterproof layer comes un-fused from the outer layer of fabric.
