Story of Medicine

I run a History of Medicine Course for the U3A and I have used several books to produce the course. This book provides an interesting introduction to the subject but it is not for people who wish to study the subject in depth. It does however cover a broad selection of topics and is easy to read. I would recommend it for anybody who has a general interest in the subject

It does not matter what your particular reading interests are you will enjoy this book.Medicine is interesting because it affects each and everyone of us. The book is very well researched and despite the massive steps forward we still have so much to learn in the fascinating world of medicine. Go ahead and purchase this book it is worth every penny.

A very interesting book for anyone who is interested in all aspects of medical progress throughout the centuries. A good reference book, for me anyway!
