Will this driver side mirror fit my 2012 Ford F150 Lariat that currently has power folding mirrors?

Yes, it absolutely will! This driver side mirror glass is fully compatible with all 2011-2014 Ford F150. It serves as a direct, precise replacement for OEM part BL3Z-17K707-D.

Does this driver left side mirror come with the smaller blind spot mirror already built into it?

Yes, it does. Our mirror glass features the highly desirable integrated convex blind spot spotter glass located in the upper outer corner. This replicates the authentic dual-mirror OEM design, maximizing your safety during highway driving.

Is the plastic backing plate included in the box, or do I have to scrape off old glue and attach it myself?

The backing plate comes pre-attached to the rear of the mirror glass right out of the box. There is no need to use any messy adhesives, glues, or double-sided tape. It is designed as a direct, snap-on replacement for a stress-free installation.

How do I know if the heating defroster function will actually work on this new driver side mirror?

This mirror glass is manufactured with a high-quality integrated heating grid and two metal terminal prongs on the back. During installation, simply plug your truck's two existing electrical heating wires into these terminals.
