I am hoping to exchange foe a stainless steel product. It was also, not long enough. The color was a flat silver aluminum...I prefer shiny.

Great for blocking the gap between my stove and counter. The magnet on the product is weak. When i wipe or bump it with my hand or untensil it slides around. It does not stay in place

This item was ordered to cover a gap between a stove top and the adjoining countertop. After some adjustments to the stove legs and some cutting with a Dremel tool, it fits snuggly.The item is made from fairly thin aluminum. That means one can shape it easily with a Dremel, but it's a long way from heavy duty. It arrived in a padded envelope with no protection against bending. The edges are sharp, but are easy rounded with a medium metal file. An emery board might also work. A flexible magnet strip runs along the underside that goes on the stove top, which works well. It takes some fiddling with the stove legs to get a close fit on the counter side. I wish they would put a bit more crown in the profile, which make it easier to get a good fit on the counter.
