We begin by hand-selecting the best quality domestic white turkey feathers we can find. We then go through the painstaking process of carefully cleaning, straightening, preening and clipping the feathers to provide the shape and size required. These are finally hand-painted to transform a plain white feather into a very realistic reproduction raptor feather. This feather represents a salt and pepper feather from an immature Bald Eagle.
