Sterling silver is made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy. The alloy can contain trace elements of non-hypoallergenic metals. People with severe allergies may need to only wear jewelry made of karat gold, platinum or stainless steel.

Q: Are these same sized earrings available in yellow gold settings?

Unfortunately we do not have red Swarovski Crystal studs available in yellow-gold tone at the moment.

Q: Amethyst. Are they purple? The picture makes it look more reddish. Are they sparkley?

I gave these to my granddaughter for Christmas, so I recall them being purple. Her birthstone is amethyst and I’m sure I would have returned them if they weren’t purple.
