Brilliant little solution to cabinet doors swinging too far open. And cheap too! I have DTC hinges. This little goober fits in the cabinet side of the hinge. You have to remove one screw, flip the hinge open, and insert this piece. Works great. Only using one per door, so a bag of 10 is stretching quite a ways. These devices are hinge-specific, so be sure to learn what brand of hinge you have. Instructions on how to install are available online.

These little plastic clips are designed to work on DTC brand cabinet hinges. They limit the angle that the cabinet door will open by restricting the range of the door hinge. I highly recommend watching a YouTube video before you tackle the install. You DO NOT need to remove the cabinet door. You simply remove one screw from the part of the hinge that is attached to the door frame. Then move that part of the hinge away from the frame, exposing the inside parts. A hinge clip will pop into place (watch a video to see exactly where), then you screw the hinge back onto the door. It's that easy and works like a charm. It took me less than 2 minutes per hinge. My tall cabinet door has 3 hinges, and I could probably get away with installing a clip on only one hinge. However, I chose to put a clip on each hinge just to be safe, since there will be a mirror on the wall that could be damaged if the cabinet door were to open all the way. I would say that the 86-degree description is pretty accurate, although I didn't measure it. The door stops short of hitting the wall and that's all that matters.

The angle restrictor clips for DTC cabinet hinges work wonderfully and are very easy to install. To install- 1) remove the hinge from the cabinet frame by removing the screw. See pic 2. NOTE: No need to remove the cabinet door and you only need to install a clip in one hinge per door for the restrictor to work) 2) Once the screw has been removed, spring the hinge to open and reveal the inside. See pic 1. 3) Insert the restrictor clip so that the curved part of the clip is over the barrel of the hinge. (The clip will snap into place) 4) Close the hinge and reattach it to the cabinet frame. You’re done! The whole process takes 5-10 minutes per door and no more ruining cabinet doors and walls by doors that open at too wide of an angle (the clips will restrict opening angle to 86 degrees)

The work perfectly and only take seconds to install! I was worried my roll out shelves would hit the door with the new 86 degree opening, but I was able to sand the piece a smidge to get a 90 degree opening where needed. In the photo, the upper door has the angle stop as-is, and lower door is modified to provide a little more clearance.

Works great and easy to install. Make sure you get the correct one for your hinges. My hinges had the makers logo on them so I ordered them, easy peasy. No more smacking into walls and or other cabinets. They open wide enough for me to pull my shelf organizer drawer full out. So I’m a very happy customer!

Purchased these for 6 doors. For 5 of them it worked perfectly. For the 6th door, applying to both top and bottom hinges, had no effect. Tried different pieces from the package without success. Nonetheless, well worth it for the other doors.

These work great! Especially where the cabinet opens near a door, stove or wall.

These work great for DTC brand hinges. Make sure you have DTC brand before you purchase, as other brands will require different clips. These did require the cabinet door to be removed in order to install the clips. Make sure you're knowledgeable on how the cabinet door gets reinstall after you're done.
