Sunbest Natural Narrow Sesame Sticks, Non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher, 2 Lbs.

This was the fourth time I had ordered this product, sesame sticks, from this seller. Previously, I was very satisfied with the product. This time they have a stale very unpleasant taste. I have ordered them about every other month to add to other ingredients used to make a party mix, & is a favorite new ingredient by several in my family. I use 5 kinds of cereals, 3 kinds of nuts, mini pretzels, bagel chips, & the sesame sticks. Since I didn’t taste them before I added them to the rest of the ingredients, I didn’t noticed the unusual taste of the mix until after it was baked & put in containers, I then tasted one of each of the ingredients in the mix to find which one had the unpleasant taste. I spend more than $100 for all of the ingredients each time I make it, so you can imagine how unhappy I was to discover the problem. I now have to go through the process of finding a different vendor to buy from. I would return them, but after going to the trouble of making the mix I would not want to go through & pick out the sesame sticks! What a waste of my time & money$$$

We were eager to recieve these Seasame Sticks as we are big fans of other brands. This is the first time buying this brand, and the last! They have a semi-stale flavor that tastes "off". It's almost as if they have a slightly plastic flavor like the plastic bag they came in. We had several family & friends who tasted them & felt the same way. I would have returned them if possible. They are now bird food on our deck.

UPS put this on our porch and one minute later I picked it . As soon as I opened my door I could smell the stench. Hoping they smelled bad but tasted good, we tried them and quickly learned they taste exactly like it smells.....best guess on the smell....rotting vomit! It honestly is hard to put a name to the smell. I would have returned it but the item was non-returnable which tells me the seller(s) now how bad a product it is and just want to sell it and be done with it. If you really want sesame sticks, you're better off going to the store and getting them.

I’ve gotten these before and they were great but this latest batch was completely rancid and inedible upon receipt. Like, you could smell it through the shipping box. There was a coupon for a percentage off next purchase that had been expired for some time, which would suggest that they were packaged up and stored for a while. I realize that oils and products that have oil should be stored in cool places and will eventually become rancid over time, but these were no where near their expiry date. I emailed the vendor (Sunbest) 2 or 3 times and received no response, which is very disappointing because they have a tasty (when fresh) product at a reasonable price. Boo.

These are great. Taste is great. Right amount of salt. I sprinkle them on my salad and sometimes in soup. What I suggest is to put the bag in the refrigerator as soon as you open it up. I've ordered these several times and when I let them sit in the cupboard they start to go bad. I guess I just don't use them fast enough.

I ran out of my sesame sticks from Sprouts so I decided to take a chance and order them from Amazon. This HUGE bag arrived and I thought that I had better like them! Well, I do. I love them. I keep some at work and I find myself wandering into the kitchen to grab 5 or 6. Over and over. I think I will need a bigger container at work!These sticks are fresh and crisp and SO good! I will definitely buy more once I run out.

Purchased SUNBEST Narrow Sesame Sticks in Resealable Bag, Kosher Certified (4 Lb) on November 10, 2017. Package label indicated "best by 04/2018". Upon opening the package for the first time, there was an overwhelming rancid odor and the product was not edible. The bag had been sealed but it had the appearance of sitting on the shelf for a very long time. Very disappointed because I expected much more with all the positive reviews. Fortunately Amazon came to the rescue and refunded the cost. Better luck next time.

We had been buying these in larger and larger bags, going from 1 lb. to 2lb. and finally to the three pound bag, as the price was compelling to do so. Unfortunately, after the initial return period had expired, we opened this huge bag and they were rancid. Contacted the vendor and have heard zero back. So instead of keeping a steady customer, now we'll never buy this product again and would advise against buying it for these reasons. Yes, that seems like a great customer service decision, doesn't it?
