I’m very happy with the Weighmax W-2809. I primarily use it for weighing packages before shipping, and it has made the process so much easier. The sleek silver design is compact enough to not take up too much space, yet large enough that items don’t fall off like on smaller kitchen scales. I especially love using it in grams for recipes, honey, and jams; the tare function makes it so easy to zero out a bowl and add ingredients. It gives consistent, accurate readings every time, and easily swaps between four measuring units: lb, Kg, lb/oz, and oz. The screen is a massive plus—the extra-large, back-lit LCD display is super easy to read in any environment, and you can still see it even with a large bowl on top. The buttons also feel nice to use. I’ve been running it cordless on batteries, but it’s great that it comes with a power cable too. Highly recommended!

This device was a revelation when I purchased it years ago. I bought it out of frustration with having to constantly visit the post office and wait in a line for my item to be weighed and postage applied. Ever since, I've used this handy little scale to weigh my packages before printing postage labels online. The scale is solid without being overly big, can be used with batteries or plugged into an outlet, has the features (i.e. tare) that you'd expect and is accurate enough that in the years since I started using it I was never charged for weight overage by the post office. The scale is on the smaller side so I suspect it should be avoided for larger packages, but for the typical packages a household sends (gifts, online returns, etc.) it's perfect. It's saved me so much time and frustration in the last few years! Couldn't live without one!

Cumple con el objetivo para el cual fue diseñada, es fácil de usar, los materiales son resistentes y de buena calidad. Fácil de limpiar. En lo personal tiene 2 detalles importantes: 1) tienes que estar al pendiente de apagar la báscula cuando la conectas al toma corriente, NO ES AUTO APAGADO. 2) tienes que cuidar que no se ensucie y evitar derramar líquidos en la base de pesaje porque estos pueden caer en la pantalla y botoneria y a la larga te dañará tu báscula. Sería genial que el fabricante mejorara en estos 2 puntos. Aún así el producto es 100% recomendable, para el hogar y pequeños negocios.
