Great price saved from buying at Walmart or game store. Super fun lego game to play for kids my son had lot of fun playing this game. I highly recommend buy it.

This is one of the better Lego games. There is a certain simplicity to it, perhaps because it isn't over complicated with licensed characters at every turn (although there are some fun unlock able characters that are known like a spoof of Columbo or Sherlock Holmes). The missions are amusing and solvable. The scenery is very nice and the open-world suits the game. It's suitable for kids other than some toilet humor here and there—there are plenty of corny jokes kids would find funny. The selection of characters is generally fun and there's a fun variety of character classes (cop, criminal, miner, astronaut, farmer, fireman, construction worker). There really should be a sequel to this - as I mentioned, it's not a licensed Lego game - there was a certain originality to the characters as a result.A few gripes — there are many spots where you lose 360-degree control of the camera when you want to look around. This is very frustrating, especially when calculating a course on rooftops or something. Also, the puzzles seem heavily weighted toward the Rex Fury character (and astronaut) when other characters like the miner and farmer are funner. The unlock able citizens don't have any skill, which makes them basically novelties because they can't help solve puzzles. Finally, it's too hard to travel. There is no fast travel without going to a train station. Helicopters are nice, but there is no easy access to a helipad except for the police station and you can't jump out whenever you want (you have to be over a helipad, jump target, or close enough to a vehicle to jump in).

This game has been hours and hours of fun for my entire family! At less than $20 it's a huge value for family entertainment! Everyone in the whole house has be thoroughly enjoying this game kids and parents can find a lot here to play with. It's not a perfect game, the camera and controls can hit a snag on occasion (but that goes for almost any game these days), and it can have an occasional graphical issue with something getting jaggy. Overall though it doesn't have any fatal flaws. It plays very much like a family friendly GTA, but what's nice is it really hits the mark on staying appropriate for the kids while not feeling overly childish and being able to get a laugh out of Mom and Dad too. I haven't played many of the Lego games but of the ones I have this game is head and shoulders above all of them. Highly recommend!

This game has fantastic graphics. The city is wide open to explore. There are boundaries at the outer limits, but there is so much to see that if your child gets tired of the game, they can wander around doing side activities. The game itself is fun and very challenging at places. The main character has to capture an escaped criminal and must don disguises and do illegal things to become part of a criminal gang. The character will visit a police station, fire training center, construction site, prison, space station, a farm, and more. They'll get to drive cars and trucks and ride horses, pigs, and dinosaurs. Playing it over allows the user to rise in levels where new features are unlocked. Encourages exploration and problem-solving. The music is fun and the dialogue clever, so adults sitting nearby doing something else will be amused.

The BEST Lego game for our family! We have every other Lego game-yes really-and this game has been so entertaining for my husband and I, 9 year old girl, and 7 year old boy. It is just challenging enough for all us to work together, but easy enough for the kids to find bricks, vehicles and characters. It’s an in depth and long game. My hubby who mastered Star Wars and Indiana Jones said it was more entertaining and those and deep enough to not get boring but not too short to be disappointed.

I got this game for my 6 year old son who is a big police fan and it has been a huge hit. There’s some parts that he will get stuck on but it’s easy enough for me (a non-gamer) to get past. It’s entertaining for me to watch him play - the story lines are amusing, there was even a Shawshank Redemption reference that cracked me up. Really happy with this game, it has been a lot better than the other LEGO games in my opinion. He struggled much more with Jurassic World and Batman LEGO games but this one can keep him entertained and keeps his frustration levels low.
