Very educating book

My list of likes are that I read an Star Wars Insider magazine about how five or more different authors worked on the many different eras of the Skywalker Saga, second I also liked the items, characters, and organization timelines which give me an petitioning idea to do a timeline series like the European books series called “Star Wars encyclopedia”, third and finally I enjoyed the lesser known and unexplored stories that got my attention.My dislike is that on the Kindle version of this book, the words are blurry like that Darth Vader image above, second I agree with the rest of the reviewers that all of the recent and new Star Wars lore and details from current stories are not in there, and finally there weren’t any storylines of Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Order restoration arc because a month ago I saw YouTube reviews about that along with the book.The book is a first step for new Star Wars fans, intriguing to read, and we [the Star Wars fans and readers including me] want to congratulate the many authors for the hard work into this excellent book.Thank you LucasFilms!!!

My husband is a diehard Star Wars fan and he absolutely loves this book! He pours over every page going “Oh wow” and “hmm, I didn’t know that”. It does such a wonderful job of explaining all the different timelines and how everything fits together. Some sections go into more detail on a certain character and other section focus on a time period like, the clone wars. The illustrations are outstanding in such vivid colors and it’s easy to follow. He’s not a book reader, but he is reading this book cover to cover. Highly, highly recommend.

Some captions were difficult to read due to the lack of contrast between the word color and the color of the page. Otherwise very good.

very informative

The Timelines book is a great collection of intertwined events that span the Star War universe. With so many stories being told beyond the movies and streaming shows it is a huge accomplishment to compile and present these timelines that help paint a larger picture than what George Lucas could have imagined. A must have for Star Wars collectors. It does however falter with poor font size, text color, and waste of space that makes the book challenging to read. Put on your Maz Kanata goggles cause you are going to need them. Paper quality seemed a bit flimsy especially for repeated reading. May want to wear gloves as the pages hold fingerprints and stains easily.

This was purchased as a gift. Upon receiving it in preparation to wrap it, I handled it like a new born baby. The book itself front and back cover had a used dull look to it. Don’t judge a book by its cover? Yes I will! I slow motion opened the book and right away could tell this book was previously opened and the spine cracked. This book was not new.
