Not much of an introduction and without any real background. I decided to get this to teach current flow, voltage drops, and of course parallel and series circuits. This kit is enough. There are fancier build a circuit kits with many more attachments and fancy layout boards. Build a radio, a spinning wheel, etc... I didn't really need this to teach fundamental concepts. Perfect for my task. The items are rugged enough for the task. Review: Good learning tool - I used this to make an electrical maze for a small group of boys. Worked well.

Great for teaching circuits
My 9 year old grandson was learning about parallel and series circuits in school. Not much of an introduction and without any real background. I decided to get this to teach current flow, voltage drops, and of course parallel and series circuits. This kit is enough. There are fancier build a circuit kits with many more attachments and fancy layout boards. Build a radio, a spinning wheel, etc... I didn't really need this to teach fundamental concepts. Perfect for my task. The items are rugged enough for the task.

Works great but the light bulbs don”t seat properly

Poor quality but it worked for the price
I had to take out the volt meter to troubleshoot a few times. It is flimsy. That was a bit disruptive when I was trying to teach my son. Overall it was useful and not too expensive.

Circuit Building
this taught me how to make complete circuits. i like how the switches are the old school style and like how the terminals require no soldering! the wire that comes with it is great. and it has a bonus screwdriver and small wrench, tho i bent mine a little bit lol. no big deal. it comes with a manual for how to build different circuits too, which helped me out a lot cuz i'm a beginner. i'm definitely buying another kit when i can. just the parts alone is enough to make me wanna buy another, and at a great price!
