𝘐𝘧 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥, 𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴.”   I really don’t know where to start. My heart was shattered and put back together so many times I lost count. Honestly, it felt as if @meaganbrandyauthor was using my heart for target practice. I don’t want to give anything away with this book because there are so many plot twists that I don’t want to risk ruining.  For readers who don’t like love triangle tropes, this is labeled as one, but it is nothing like your typical love triangle. There are so many other tropes as well, so do not write this one off because you hate that first trope. I promise you won’t regret it. The spice isn’t anything crazy, but for this book, it’s perfection. I loved every single character in this book. Minus Chase. * ᶜᵒᵘᵍʰ ᶜᵒᵘᵍʰ* 𝔻𝕠𝕦𝕔𝕙𝕖. Noah was 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆! He was so kind, confident, patient, sexy and loves with his heart and soul. Arianna was so relatable, and you can’t help but love everything about her. The trials and tribulations they are going through is so realistic. I could go on about these characters forever. Really, I could go on about this book forever. I am blown away by Say you Swear and wish I could read it again for the first time.  I do recommend going in completely blind with this book. You should definitely trust all of the reviews and get the full experience for yourself.

Hands down my favorite Meagan Brandy story of all time!! Swoony, heart-hitting, and indelibly moving, Say You Swear is Meagan's most emotively resonant and richly told story to date. This story shines brightly with everything that makes Meagan the queen of new adult romance- friends who are family, the thrills and perils of first love, self discovery, and so much angst. From start to finish, this one captured my whole heart and will stay there for years to come.Trust the hype- there is something just so special about this story. And, because of that, I really can’t tell you much about it. Part of the experience is trying to understand just where this romance is going. Like our heroine, we’re trying to figure out heart out- just who it beats for, just what we want to be true. And like all other Meagan stories, it’s not at all what you expect, in more ways than one. And that is what makes it such charming- life isn’t told in blurbs of tropes. Life unfolds in experiences, mistakes, and moments- it's part of growing up and maturing. And thematically this book really shines in conveying that, in giving us a messy story with young people trying to figure out their big feelings, trying to work through big mistakes, and trying to figure out just who they are and what they want. This is a story about the courage it takes to find yourself, to go on this crazy journey of life, to muddle through the messy art of living and loving with grace for yourself...and others.But let me tell you now- Say You Swear as the dreamiest book boyfriend of all time. I legitimately could not love this character more- my heart was exploding with tenderness for him once we figure him out, I fervently and unendingly love him. The swoon, the sexiness, his thoughtfulness and patience. He’s the kind of beautiful soul that breaks your heart from it’s preciousness. Not at all the man we think he will be based on how we see him at first- but isn’t that the very magic of Meagan Brandy? She gives us characters who on the surface seem to be one thing, but steadily she gives us so much more to them beneath the surface, a cornucopia of feelings and complexity. Our hero here has a sincerity that's almost unbelievable in it’s authenticity - but he’s just that great. Passion, loyalty, insecurities, and longing- this is a man whose love is special. So much more than we know….but Meagan tests it and us, in ways unexpected. Over and over again.And our heroine Ari is super lovable and relatable- she’s a softer Meagan heroine. Of course, she has fortitude and strength, but she’s also quite vulnerable. She’s a bit of a bleeding heart- which makes it so easy for her to be hurt. But she also has such a delicious spark and sass to her- I just loved her heart and her humor. We experience so much of this story through her shoes - grappling with her longing, her heartbreaks, the loss and drama of young love, the joy and excitement of it.While this story certainly had me on my toes, and the unexpected twists both break and healed my heart, what I loved most are the tonal contrasts- how Meagan somehow gives us a love story that at its core is innocent and sweet, light and tender, but she buries it in a mess of complication and drama. It makes for such a delicious reading experience with the thrill of the drama and uncertainties juxtaposed to these delightfully sweet and sincere moments. But once you know just who this story is about, there is a fulfilling contentment that fills your heart, because you see just how perfectly they fit. How natural and authentic the chemistry and connection are, despite being in the most unnatural and complicated of dynamics. It’s really sweet and emotionally compelling., and I’ve never rooted for a Meagan Brandy HEA so hard. There are some heart wrenching and unexpected moments both big and small that had me in tears- I felt so intensely connected to these characters that I so easily absorbed their pain. This is the story I have FELT the most in the Meagan Brandy universe- by far her most emotively impacting story. THERE IS SO MUCH ANGST, so hang on tight.Fans of the Fumbled world will see some delightful cameos, and the secondary cast is just perfection. Meagan has such a keen ability of writing new adult stories that center on characters who are a tight knit family, and this is one of her best. Each and every character stole my heart and played a critical role in the outcome of this book- I’m already begging for them to get their story (especially Ari’s twin brother!). I wish I’d gotten to swim around more in the HEA, especially after so much angst and drama, but I’m hopeful we’ll see these characters again.Hands down my favorite MB story- I just couldn’t love it more. The endearing characters, the angsty romance, the charming chemistry, and the swoony magic had me ravenously turning the pages. The angsty, new adult sports romance is CLEARLY Meagan Brandy’s wheelhouse- here’s hoping we get to play around in this world for longer!

Wow, was this a damn journey or what! This will have you feeling it all - every damn bit. Yes, this is a love triangle, but not one that you have experienced once before. The difference- you haven’t met Noah Riley. This man stole the damn show from the moment he entered the equation.We read a lot from Arianna’s POV and she is just entering the new stage of her life- college. But she has her brother and childhood friends right by her side- oh and Chase her first love…🙄One event changed what seemed to have been a moment that our girl Arianna thought would change her life for the best, & she was finally getting what she always wanted-but nope. Further proving boys are dumb!And just when Arianna least expected it- entered Noah. When I say that this dynamic was PERFECT- I mean it with every ounce of my heart & soul.Noah was not only patient, but he was sweet, caring, humble, a f-cken GEM of all GEMS. And most importantly this man was selfless. His ultimate motive here was Arianna’s happiness and hers alone.But hold on to that because in a moment's notice things change & that’s when you want to grab those tissues and a blanket. Heartbreak will be waiting for ya.Now, a happy ending is guaranteed and I would have NOT rated this a full on 5 stars had this not been a true happy ending. BUT don’t expect for it to be an easy one to get to.Overall, perfection. Perfect. Endless amount of stars and hearts and all of the above. And of course Noah Riley will be your next ultimate book friend. I guarantee it.

Wow this book makes you feel so many emotions it left me sobbing! Ari has loved her brother’s best friend from the moment she met him but he doesn’t seem to feel the same way until one night they sleep together. Ari thinks this is the start of something new but Chase is quick to say it’s a mistake which breaks Ari’s heart. She goes into a depression but Noah the college QB befriends her and brings her out of her depressed state. She becomes a whole new person full of life and happiness and her and Noah have some amazing chemistry.When a tragedy befalls Ari, Noah is heart broking and thinks he has lost her forever. What Noah does is so selfless and just show’s how amazing and thoughtful he is and how much he loves Ari. I cried so much for what he was put through and at times i disliked Ari and hated Chase but it does end in a HEA.Noah will steal your heart and i don’t think you will ever find a better book boyfriend ever! An amazing book that grips you from the start!

# Say You SwearEver heard of the term "book boyfriend"? Of course you have, you wouldn't have landed on this review otherwise. Well, "Say You Swear" take this term to acompletely new level… "book husband"… no, "book soulmate"is more like it.Now, have you read any Meagan Brandy books yet? No! Well, honestly, don't start here. And I say this in the most positive way possible as this is possibly Meagan's best book to date. But! It will break you. It will tear you down, build you back up and leave you wondering what the hell just happened. So, you will 100% need tissues throughout this book.Before this book came out, I remember reading that you should go into this book with no spoilers or pre-conceived notion about what happens. And I back this completely! If you're a fan of authors like Meagan Brandy, seen "Say You Swear" in a Facebook group or on someone's Instagram or even your kindle is recommending it, then listen to these sources! It's a long haul and I did have to read it in two sittings when normally I would read Meagan's books for the first time in one but for me a breather was needed.*"The love of a lifetime"*Five words that I feel completely sum up this book. The journey that you are taken on with Arianna is one for fiction and daydreams. It's far from perfect and throughout her journey your heart breaks for her and when she's healing you feel it with her. When she falls for the love of her life, you fall right there with her.When the eventual "shit hitting the fan" moment comes, you are completely torn. I remember reading this part (which is longer than the usual Meagan Brandy "shit hitting the fan" moment) in a complete daze, reading what I kind of hoped was just me dreaming. Yet, that moment when everything falls into place in so amazing that you will find yourself letting out a breath you didn't even realise you were holding in.*"Love aches, but love is a blessing, something you’d be lucky to experience. Loss hurts, but loss is necessary, something you have to experience."*100% read this book. I believe that it's a story that will stay with you for a long time.And, of course, make sure you have plenty of tissues and I probably wouldn't read it in public either, unless you're happy with getting strange looks. When you have finished, listen to Meagan's playlist on Spotify called "Ari's book" where songs you've either never heard or love will take on a completely different meaning.

Once you start this book you wont be able to put it down, it will grip your heart and make you feel every single emotion possible. This book will captivate you, hold you on the edge of your seat, make you swoon with the ultimate book boyfriend and make you cry your eyes out with the emotion and the twists and the shocks in this story that the reader will not see coming at all. This book is a sports romance with a love story that you must read.This group of friends have known each other a very long time andArianna and her twin brother Mason, are very close and he is extremely protective over his sister, they're best friends and so are there close-knit group of friends. This is why they are so scared to change anything or let any feeling become involved. Then at the beach Ari meets the man of the hour Noah and he is a breathe of fresh air but she just doesn't know it yet. A love triangle happens and Ari is so confused with everything and he emotions are making her feel miserable, she wants what she cant have, she thinks.(I cant really say any more without giving spoilers away.)I loved the characters in this book and not just the main two but all of them and how they completely adore each other. This group of friend will do anything for each other and are there for them no matter what. The reader wont be able to see where this love story will go and will keep you guessing right until the end, but it is a slow build up at first. This book has drama, steam, angst and the chemistry between these college kids is hot. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend everyone one clicks this book.

This is probably the first time when I don’t know how to write my review without giving away too much.The first thing I have to say though- and that’s not a spoiler, it’s a warning - you will need a box of Kleenex. Or maybe two.This is our third book for our buddy read and I’m so glad we got to read it together. We definitely needed each other. (Although they nearly threw me out of the group for liking Chase too much 😄Let’s get to the point.There are 3 main characters in the book; Arianna, Chase and Noah.Yes, there is going to be a love triangle.I was rooting for Chase. That’s not a secret. He is Ari’s first love. He has been for years.One night they decide to step over the friendship zone, but Chase manages to break her heart within 5 seconds. Turns out, his friendship with - Ari’s brother - Mason is more important to him than her feelings.Until another man comes in the picture.Chase soon realises that his feelings are stronger than he thought. But how strong?Noah is literally the perfect guy. He has fallen in love with Ari as soon as he laid his eyes on her.Even though she loves Chase, she realises that she deserves and wants more than a secret love affair.Ari and Noah start spending more time together, and their feelings for each other are growing stronger and stronger. Until fate decides to step in to take it all away.Noah has to step back and watch the love of his life with another man. Even though it hurts him, he makes sure he does the right thing.I could go on and on but then I would spoil the whole thing, so I’m just going to zip my mouth and let you read the book.It’s safe to say that I’m emotionally drained. This book broke my heart piece by piece, little by little. It will definitely stay in my heart for a very long time.I would also love to mention how much I loved and adored the friendship between Brady, Cameron, Chase, Mason and Ari. You will definitely fall in love with Mason too. Some people might find him overprotective, but it just proves how much he loves his little sister.So what are you waiting for? So we choose this book for our 3rd buddy read this year and what a pick it was! This is my first book by this author and holy mother of hell. It ripped me apart, put me back together again just to destroy me some more.. feeling a lot like Humpty Dumpty right now 😂Our two leads are Ari and Noah, could they be more perfect for each other? More adorable? More fun and just complete heart stealers?! Noah said it best Romeo and Juliet at its finest, truer love has never been seen until these two.Ari has been in love with her brother best friend for as long as she can remember, they are some of the closest group of friends I’ve ever seen so the line was never crossed until of course it was.. does Ari get the happy ever after she thought, no not at all. Chase chooses his friendship with Mason (Ari’s brother) over her and I can’t say he instantly regrets it but he definitely will - don’t they all, once the girl wakes up and moves on.Ari is beautiful, free spirited, caring and so passionate about caring for others - even if she does burn boiling water. She has always been surrounded by friends and family so what happens when she pulls herself away. Will she be able to open up to Noah? Can her heart heal long enough to see what’s right in front of her?Noah, my goodness I don’t even know where to start with the utter perfection that is this man. Book boyfriend? Nope more like book husband, he has levelled up and now has set a very high bar for these book men!He is caring, strong, brave, fun, so adorable and just my goodness EVERYTHING! I couldn’t get enough of him, I felt nothing but love, admiration, sympathy and more love for him.It has always been him and his mother, when she became Ill he did everything to make her proud, be there for her and just be totally awesome! One look at Ari and he was in love, plain and simple!Is he strong enough to love this deeply? Or will he walk away shattered like the rest of us?However it’s not an easy journey.. not in the slightest. This book gave me anxiety, made me cry, made me laugh, had me falling head over hells. Pretty sure I screamed, yelled and throw the book in the freezer more times than I could count. Thank goodness I was reading as a buddy, F*** doing this book alone, I needed the shoulders to lean on.I literally can’t recommend this book more, I will be your shoulder, I’ll have snacks and tissues at the ready!
