Indian Version Doesn't Have English Units
tldr: DO NOT buy this edition if you need it for a thermodynamics class. This listing doesn't make it clear that this is an international (Indian) version which doesn't have tables in English units. Though seemingly innocuous, all thermodynamics classes are is essentially looking up nicely chosen values in tables in the back of the book, which you can't do with this version! It's infeasible to convert all English unit values to "not nice" metric values and then interpolate the value you need from the given metric tables.

I received this textbook, only to notice that the problems were significantly different, and that there is a small banner on the cover that says "For sale in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan only.

NOT THE ENGLISH VERSION
This is the Special Indian Edition, and only contains SI units, whereas the standard edition contains SI units as well as English units. Completely worthless for my Thermodynamics course.

Surprisingly hilarious for a thermodynamics textbook. Would recommend. Very readable.

Taking into consideration the price for to hard cover one or the new edition one, this is the best purchase you could make. It's black and white but it doesn't make any difference.

Go for it without having a doubt.. very good book for UG level . Explained the subject in easy way.. For more knowledge you may also reffer to Shapiro or sontag or zemansky and dittman.
