Very nice lantern which is a good size. The lantern stands as tall and as deep as a hardback book with the topper and handle above that book height. The candle is screwed into the bottom of the lantern which is okay EXCEPT the candle does NOT have a timer switch. It only has “on” and “off.” Which means the recipient of said lantern has to pick up the entire lantern to turn it on and off. That is a considerable flaw to me. Every other battery operated candle I have ever purchased has had a TIMER option. This one does not. A HUGE disappointment and does take away from the desirability of the lantern. Especially when the included candle cannot easily be exchanged for a candle that does have the TIMER option. Had I known there was no TIMER option on the candle, I would not have purchased this lantern. I just hope the person I am gifting it to doesn’t mind picking it up to turn it on and off. So disappointed because otherwise it would be a nice memorial gift.

I was worried about the glass, but it was not broken. Very nice quality. For a sympathy gift I would buy again instead of flowers.

The family I’ve gifted this to said it is very beautiful and keeps it lit, especially during the rosaries for their beloved mother. I saw it during the ZOOM meeting for prayers. It shines brightly even through video ZOOM meetings. I’m glad I chose this item.

Love the product and the candle is on a timer. Prefect, my friend love seeing the light glow every eve, in rememberance.

Gave this in place of flowers or a blanket. It was appreciated by the family.
