I bought two of these for our new house about a year ago. It works really well, doesn't take up much space, and the vacuum suction thing is pretty cool. It does need 4 AA batteries, I believe. Also, amazing customer service. So one of my lids broke and it stopped opening. The suction still worked, but one of the plastic pieces broke off, so the lid would not open. This one I had barely used because it was in the guest bathroom. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one. Overall, exactly what I was looking for. The motion detection works really well. It is super easy to clean. And yes, even though my one lid broke, I would say it is sturdy!

You know how garbage bags invariably trap air under the bag when you first place it in the garbage bin? This little bin makes that time-consuming problem a thing of the past. Put the bag in the bin, put the lid on the top, and it automatically draws the trapped air from under the bag, vacuum-sealing the new bag to the bottom AND sides of the entire bin. It’s a great solution to a daily problem. My main complaint is that they don’t seem to make these in larger size. Four gallons is great for my bedroom and home office, but I need a 13 gallon version for my kitchen ASAP please! (And add a rubber seal or similar barrier for ants, please).Also has great motion detection and a neat led count-down for the auto lid open/close function. This review is months post purchase, and the batteries are still running strong.Highly recommended. So nice to see actual innovation where it addresses a real problem. Well done.

Loved this trash bin. Had it for exactly one month. Then the lid decided to stop working. Very disappointedUpdate 10/2/22 from 3 to a 5 starI was kindly contacted by the manufacturer in regards to my bin not working after a month. They were kind enough as to offer me a new one free of charge. Not many companies do that nowadays. Most of the time it's only for rating of products and then never receive anything, most of the time sad to say. That being said, I am happy to mention I received my new bin as promised and I appreciate it and wanted to reach out and say Thank you for the new bin.

One of my kids is disabled and can't use a foot-pedal can, and no one wants to touch a bathroom trash can to use it, so we got this. It works great and I've found I much prefer it to a foot-pedal can as it can be opened while sitting down. It's just really handy. The motion sensor works well and we haven't had to change the batteries yet (4 months?). It holds a lot too, and looks nice.The one knock I have is that the lid is a pain to remove to empty the can. It's not hard, just a bit fussy. I'd still buy it again.Update March 2024: The batteries just finally died after two years. It took that long despite this can being heavily used and a cat that figured out they could make the lid open and liked to do it over and over and over.

i BOUGHT AN OLDER VERSION OF THIS TRASH CAN. iT DIDN'T EVEN LAST A YEAR. CONTACTED THE SELLER AND HE SAID HE WOULD REPLACE IT. HE DID REPLACE IT WITH A DUFFERENT CAN. I WANTED THE ONE I HAD. I MESSAGED HIM AGAIN. HE HAS NOT RESPONDED. PLUS THE NEW ONE HE SENT ME DOESNT WORK EITHER

Y'all... seriously... who says they love a trashcan? I do... I love this trashcan. I bought one a while back for one bathroom and recently bought a second for our second bathroom. This is such a great little trashcan. The sensor is great, it opens smoothly and easily every time. I love the air suction feature to get the bag in all nicely. The bags it comes with are a nice little perk. The battery life is quite long, I've yet to have to change them on my first one. They may seem a little pricey, but I think they are definitely worth it.

I bought this for disposing of wet wipes by a toiket. This was for an elderly person using a toilet assist chair, so a bidet wouldn't help.it works great for hands free trash.

I own many different size touchless trash cans but when I saw this vacumms the trash bag to fully fit the container just had to give it a try. It works, it was pretty cool to see when installing the bag inside the container then after putting on the top it ran a vacumm until expanded the bag to fill it and the top has quick and smooth response. Nothing wrong with my 2 Ninestar bathroom trash cans just this offered an extra option that can become useful. would have been better if it had a removable collar to secure the bag done before putting the top on. kind of tricky to keep bag hidden so it doesn't stick out to give it that clean look were basket & lid come together. Just noticed when changing the bag there is a whole with rubber teeth on back that you pull the bag tight around the collar and then push the extra through the whole and it fits snug. This is something none of my other trash cans offer vacuuming the bag open to fit inside even though not a big deal just pretty neat for the price and could be a feature added to next generation touchless trash cans.Update: the duel coupon lowered the price so much just ordered another one, tested and it worked. Came with a few black bags which is nice to begin with. I buy Glad secent bags that I dróp the roll into the bottom under the garbage bag I'm using so always have extra bags on hand

Great garbage can for the bathroom. Small and compact but holds a lot. The sensor works great no yucky hands. Highly recommend

Works exactly how it is supposed to and is an invaluable thing for my husband who has Alzheimers and forgets to close the lid on manual waste baskets. Great product and holds a substantial amount of trash. I would recommend it.

This is basically the ONLY trash can I've ever seen from what I see online that have a fan that open the damn bag for you.... it seems stupid but I LOVE this so much ! Sensor works very well ~
