Looovee a bucket bag, partitions can do one, just chuck everything in and go, comfy and relatively good quality, it's thin but I'm not taking it to worn-torn Iraq or through the jungles of Borneo, it's going to Lidl, filled with, beer then to my mates, and it does that perfectly.

Berghaus day rucksack feels well made and at 20 litres is big enough to put a full set of waterproofs, food and water enough for a day’s walking.I’ve had several rucksacks from them over the years and have always been happy with them, they have lasted for a quite a number of years of moderate use, they have changed the design over the years and always claim the new design allow the air to circulate more freely, but I’ve never found this to be true from any manufacturers.I’ve only used the this rucksack for a few shortish walks so far around 7 miles and found it to be comfortable after wearing it for several hours at a time, it has three external pockets, one with a zip and another zipped pocket inside along with a hook to attach your keys.Would I recommend it, yes if you’re looking for a smallish well made rucksack for hiking, travelling or as a school bag it should suit your needs.

I have ended up buying lots of different ones over the years.I find this comfortable, and easy to live with.Mine was at a good price , and seems of good quality.For me I would of liked it about 5 lts bigger, and with a waist strap,I find it to small once you have a pair of trainers and a couple of drinks to put spare clothing and a water proof, as we are in a rainy changeable climate I would of gotten something slightly bigger, but saying that I do recommend it for it’s nice design and quality, and if your a smaller person who’s organised, and doesn’t want to carry to much around this is perfect for you.

Perfect for what I want it for

Not flashy as such but looks smart and solid. It's like it's designed to grow old gracefully! Simple design but has a number of useful pockets - which is what you need in a hill walking bag. Very light and comfy to wear. I really like this.

nice product lasts a good while

Two main compartments and two drink bottle holders only. No small inner pockets either inside or out for keys, wallet, passport etc etc. very disappointed as I expected better from a brand like Berghaus.
