ASUS VivoBook 15 S513EA 15.6 Inch Full HD Metal Laptop (Intel i5-1135G7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Backlit Keyboard, WiFi 6, Windows 11)

The media could not be loaded.  I was a bit worried because some of the reviews said there was no backlit keyboard. However, mine DOES have backlit keyboard which was a relief.The laptop is very well built and sturdy, it is solid and heavy at 1.8kg so if you're looking for a lightweight one this is not for you.The keyboard can be difficult to see due to the colour being silver - I'm more used to black keyboard which is easier to see. However, i do touch typing so it's not too much of an issue.It's been about 2 weeks and I've already noticed some blackout screen (once) and another issue which I'm not sure how to explain - a faint "box" was lingering and wouldn't disappear.I was looking specially for a laptop with higher RAM and SSD storage and separate number pads, so this laptop is perfect for me. In addition, it comes with Windows 11 rather than 10 which is a bonus.Wifi and Bluetooth are easy to connect, and set up is not difficult. You don't have to have a microsoft email address to set up which is helpful.Overall I'm happy with this so far, but some reviewers mentioned about it automatically turning off and on, so I'll see if there's any issues later on.

I really like my new laptop, it was easy to set up and I have adapted well to the upgrade from my old laptop with lasted 14 years, but struggled with platforms like zoom and skype.I am an older customer (over 50) and the keyboard does not account for age related eye changes - as people get older we need more contrast like balck and white rather than light and dark grey. I've googled and tried to adjust the back light settings, but this doesn't work and the light stays the same. I have bought an additional keyboard, which I hope will adress my needs and bluetooth link to the laptop. Other than the keyboard issue it's a jolly good buy and I am very pleased with the size, weight and asthetics. It was relatively easy for me to transfer my data and accounts to the new laptop which is a lot quicker and more stable than the old laptop. Definetly recommend it for people who do not struggle with eyesight issues (older eye sight issues at least)

Would have given 5 Stars, but the 'C' port is a data only version. I use two screen in addition to the laptop and was hoping to use the 'C' port as one of the video feeds. If you're looking to use multiple screens beware of this,
