Happier Cats, Happier House
August 2022Short Review:These collars have helped improve the overall peace in my house between three cats. The girl still has major rbf (pictured) but she's a more pleasant/less anxious girl and the boy tabby (also pictured) is less afraid of her. I often forget the collars are there because their fur covers it pretty well. In my opinion I think the collars smell great and were easy to put on while I fed them wet food. Their reactions initially were quite comical. I noticed a difference in behavior within about a day and they aren't bothered by the collars at all. I plan to continue buying as they've made a difference and are a great price.Long Review:I've been at a desperate point with my cats for a long time. I've had to keep the boy tabby (2 yrs old) downstairs as the girl (russian blue mix and 7 yrs old) gets really anxious when he's around and often tries to attack him. He joined our family about two years ago and she's never liked him. He hasn't done anything wrong, just existed. For two years I've had a divided house. I've tried pheromone diffusers and they've helped some but not enough to dramatically change behavior and make forward progress in keeping them together. I came across this product in a random search and was encouraged to try it when I read that other reviewers had major success in using them with feral cats and the person didn't die in the process. I put one on the girl first, and she practically crawled on the ground afterwards. When I put it on the boy tabby, he froze like he couldn't move. It was hilarious. They adjusted quickly and never messed with the collar. Within a day I noticed a change in the girl's behavior, she's more loving, less anxious and nips/scratches a lot less (towards us). The boy tabby is less timid around her and tries to get to know her. That has gone relatively well and I have high hopes of someday soon not having to lock the tabby downstairs.I look forward to see how this helps my cats also around vet time as the girl cat tends to forget who the black male cat is (8 yrs old, not pictured) after visits. She tolerates him most of the time and again, he's a lovable boy and doesn't ever do anything to her, just exists. The girl and black boy cat were adopted at the same time and only had to go through a 3 month integration period.Overall, our crabby girl seems to be doing better with it only being 3 weeks of use and I am so glad to have found this product to help my furry family get along more.May 2023I have continued to buy the collars. I didn’t really see a decrease in my girls anxiety after vet time. But I don’t recall how far into the collar usage we were. They’re lasting around 25 days before she gets increasingly aggressive with the boy tabby. I could switch at 20 days to limit this I would guess. However, everyone can roam the house as they please and thats been for about 3 weeks now!! I never thought we’d get here. Collars have been a huge help for our kitties. I’m a pro at making collar switches a breeze now. (Old collar saved so I cut the next ones to size and then switch current collar on cat to a fresh one.)

Won’t put on my cat physically
But!! I have a very small space I leave it where she doesn’t even go and it somewhat works, she seems mellow the smell is like a porta potty. and it fades fast each collar last a week maybe

Good product
First, let me say that this product does not work for all cats. My first purchase was when I adopted a 2nd cat who decided he wanted my first cat gone by any means necessary. After 2.5 months his aggression just got worse and I had to return him. I want to note that he did spend 7 months in a shelter with several cats so am guessing he had to fight for what he wanted/needed for about 1/2 of his life.Four months later I adopted a kitten. I immediately used my last calming collar on my adult cat, who was also showing signs of Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome. The acclamation went well and her FHS episodes stopped. She started playing a little too rough with the kitten once I removed the collar. She was much better once I put a new collar on her. Both times I used in conjunction with a pheromone defuser.

Seriously impressed
I’m seriously so impressed with these collars. I have been recommending them to everyone who either has anxious cats, or multiple cats who don’t get along. I have one cat (almost 2yo male) who we adopted from a friend who had a mama kitty living in her property with her litter of kittens. He was always shy & anxious but still bonded with us and our cats. When we got him fixed my boyfriend and I chased the cat around the house for about a 1/2 hr before we cornered him in our upstairs hallway & my boyfriend got him into the carrier. My boyfriend in no way then or EVER has done anything to harm the cat. For some reason though for over a year after this happened our cat stopped trusting my boyfriend. My boyfriend couldn’t even look at the cat without the little guy getting freaked out. After two weeks of having this collar one the little guy has been coming up and snuggling with my boyfriend again, after an entire YEAR of refusing interaction with bf.The second cat we use this on is our 4th & youngest. We did not intend on adopting a 4th cat but we found her shivering on our neighbors front porch & couldn’t leave her there. She was sweet & very friendly. We could tell she was at one point someone’s house cat, and don’t believe she was on the streets for that long. She had a lightweight clean coat which is uncommon in feral stray cats. They typically have matted & thick fur. So we ended up keeping her as we wanted to ensure she has a good life in a loving home and never ends up kicked onto the streets again. Girlfriend is a doll to us, but has been awful to our 3 bonded kitties (specifically to the boy cat with anxiety). I originally bought these to help with her. She definitely isn’t bonded with them yet and honestly may never be. But she doesn’t constantly seek them out to start fights & allows them to pass by without attacking. She’s even had a few positive interactions with sniffing out our other 2 cats.Overall I recommend for either type of scenario as these are well worth the $ for a 4 pack. They work better then the wall plug in. The adjustable strap slides easily and your cats can easily wiggle out of it if it gets snagged on anything- even tho it’s not breakaway style.

Arrived quickly, easy to use, but very scented (lavender)
Lavender is toxic to cats. So far so good, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the use of this much scent. It seems to be working, but I am a little worried. Probably won't buy them again.

Not very effective
My cat is ver energetic and I got these collars to use before I travel home on the plane. The scent is VERY strong (of lavender) and I didn’t really notice any changes in her behavior. She seemed pretty much the same.
