These jigs seem to work. Sinks decently fast. I changed out the assist hooks, split ring and swivel and caught one small bluefin tuna (20lbs) off of Southern California on a slow pitch setup.If you're going offshore, I would definitely change out the stock hooks and split ring. They will not hold against anything decently sized. I do this will all my jigs that come with cheap stock assist hooks (which is most of them) but this will add to your cost. I would rather have manufacturers either provide the jigs with more decent usable hooks or provide no hooks and reduce the cost.

They’re good for the price with two bonuses, the glow material is pretty good and they have a somewhat thick coating.

I am new to slow pitch jigging so I hope this helps people wanting to buy something for the first time. My friends paid for live bait and I took them out this weekend. They used live shrimp and green backs and had cut squid. I only had this. I put on the blue jig and I was bringing in fish all day. I caught as much or more then they did, but I also caught the biggest fish of the day. The funny thing is, my friends put away the live bait and started using my other two jigs.Pros:Hooks are sharpCatches fish like crazyGreat action on drift less than 2 knotsAwesome customer service when replacing blue jig (See below)Cons:The blue jig was missing a hook on arrival (I still used it and caught fish all day on other two hooks)The bottom hook broke in half and I lost a huge fishThey do chip, but you are bottom fishing so not a surpriseSome rust on hooks so wash with fresh water when you get home.I would and will buy this again. I purchased the 100 gram and was fishing in 80 to 180 ft of water. I am going to purchase heavier jigs for deeper water. Awesome jigs. A++++Update: Awesome customer service. Sent me a new blue jig. Took it out this weekend, again smoked everyone on my boat using live bait catching grouper and snapper with it. The best fish of the day also went to me. Caught a yellow fin tuna in 110 ft of water 40 miles off Tampa. This blue jig is amazing. Just ordered another one because it is so awesome.

I have fished with the jig, did well with black fin tuna , I accidentally dropped it overboard after catching 2 black-fin in about 5 minutes. ( 12/2/2023) Tested the glow in the dark in my inside closet after having the lure exposed to the sun on both sides (10/16/23) The back side lighted up really well the front side I don't see at all, looks like a different paint or coating covering the glow in the dark on the front than the back side. Am probably going to get another one.

First time out boated several lesser amberjacks and banded rudders over 10#, highly effective when jigged properly

Reasonable quality, the lure pouch is a bonus, I like that. Quality control is somewhat lacking as two of the three lures has a swivel fitted, on the third one it's missing, no major drama but slightly annoying. The major thing to mention that the assist hooks are connected on a split ring rather than the preferred solid ring connection creating a less than satisfactory connection opening you up to a potential break off. However, the overall lure appears reasonably well made, the eyes are just stickers which haven't been lacquered over so they will disappear on your first outing, you almost get what you paid for..
