Perfect Wool Pressing Pad
I love my wool pressing pad and wanted to really use it before writing a review. Like many of the reviewers said, it is sturdy, effective, can take a wide range of heat settings from your iron, and doesn't give off a funky smell. I use it right next to my sewing machine for small pressing jobs without having to set up my ironing board. Since I use it right on my table, I put one of those Mylar keep-it-hot-or-cold bags from the dollar store under it to protect the surface from steam and heat damage. Perfect! I love the large size of the pad I chose. I wish I'd had this years ago.

Surprisingly impressed.
I'm a young seamstress, yet stuck in some of the old ways from my grandmothers' time. One of those habits is leaving out my full size ironing board. I recently moved into a room in my house with acid stained concrete. My floor doesn't have an area rug yet, so the ironing board is just a bit too unstable for my liking. I can suffer through when I have to, but I was looking for something stable and space saving for smaller projects.A few ladies in my sewing groups have raved over wool pressing mats. I was always a bit hesitant to look into them because they sounded expensive. But after moving into my new space that presented me with this little challenge, I decided to see what they were about. This pressing mat is surprisingly affordable. It's a great size, as well as thick and sturdy! I wasn't expecting it to come with a silicone mat to set my iron on, but it was a FANTASTIC and necessary component to using this mat.I've had it for a few weeks now, using it almost daily, and am loving it!

Exactly what I was hoping for.
Love it. Looked at a million different wool pressing mats and agonized over which one to buy, landed on this one because of the free silicon iron mat that came with it. I used them nearly every day, sometimes for 7 or 8 hours at a stretch (to press seams and fabrics as I sew). Thick and sturdy enough that I never worry about the table getting damaged beneath it; no problem at all with marks on iron or fabric as unread in reviews of other similar mats; really glad I have the silicon may for my mini iron too. All in all, just what I was looking for. Great value.

Really nice simple leather journal
Just received and am quite pleased. Much nicer than I expected. The packaging was surprising in that in the Amazon shipping envelope, this journal was in another bubble wrap envelope and in that envelope a cloth sleeve and within the cloth sleeve a plastic sleeve! Needless to say, it was well protected during shipping. The actual notebook is a dark chocolatey brown color. The leather itself is nice — I am using this to replace a felt binder I have and this leather is as least as thick as that felt binder. Additionally, this came full with writing paper and 2 plastic storage sleeves— one for business cards, the other for misc items. The interior is a little rougher I thought it might have been, but still pretty nice. It should last a long time. For the price in comparison to other simple leather journals out there combined with the ability to have it shipped in a couple of days, this is a great item and would recommend. (Included photos to help give a better idea of the color — the desk the journal is on is black leather topped desk)

It is what I was looking for.
I like it. Basically it is just a genuine leather cover for a binded notebook. I bought it because I was looking for a genuine leather cover (I am a genuine leather person). I have no regrets! Leather is thick and smells good, high quality. Paper is nice, thick, you will really enjoy making notes on it.

Be careful- black streaks on my iron
I got this for ironing my quilt squares. But any time the iron was on the pad instead of the fabric, I got black sticky residue on the bottom of the iron that was a chore to get off. I am hopeful that once this coating is off the mat, it will not be an issue. I will also try turning the iron down a bit.Has kind of a funky smell, and I’m hoping that goes away.

Quality thick pressing mat
Using it to iron quilt blocks. It’s nice and thick, and fits on a TV tray table. The wool helps keep the blocks from stretching and moving, and reflects the heat for an excellent press. Great quality and smooth.

Absolutely Beautiful!!
This is for the floral patterned cover (I got the last one at this time) that is absolutely beautiful. I was a bit hesitant to purchase, especially given the price, so I waited a few days. But when there was only one left, the price went up by five dollars and I went for it. I'm so glad I did. The leather cover is thick, the color is a gorgeous brown, and the embossed floral pattern is well defined and even throughout. I love that it is refillable and especially appreciated the surprise gift of being loaded with paper and two plastic inserts (one a zippered pouch the size of the paper, the other will hold several smaller pieces the size of business cards). The 6 rings are well aligned and tight, and neither too easy nor too difficult to open. I look forward to using this for personal journaling, but could just as easily use it professionally to take meeting notes. Hope they get more in stock; would definitely buy again to give as gifts!!
