I wanted this as a decoration in the elementary library that I work in, and it did not disappoint. This toy is promoted as being an 8-N-1, with the possibility of creating 8 different looks. I chose to build the large castle, which took the better part of a Saturday to complete, working off and on throughout the day. I'd say the total amount of time to build the castle was about 5 hours. Much of the time was spent sorting the pieces, because the pieces were not bagged in any kind of order. Because there were very few different colors, I chose to sort the pieces into plastic bags by color, which worked out well. The instructions were not in a booklet form, but were printed on the back sides of the instructions for the 7 other building options. When the castle was finally completed, it was sturdy enough to be gently handled, and has remained intact on the display shelf since then. I think this would be a good building set for an older (ages 10+) child who has previous building experience. The directions can be a little confusing at times, so I wouldn't suggest it to someone who has never built anything from a lego-type kit before. Over all, I am pleased with it.

Very cute and adorable castle, but difficult for children under 10 without constant adult help. The directions are sparse, the pieces are tiny, and often difficult for little or even bigger hands to push completely together.Kids are not that patient and may not be happy with a puzzle-like project that might take a week or two to complete.We did have every piece and once together it is charming, but not sure it is worth it.

As a huge fan of that amazing West Coast amusement park full of Fairy Dust, the minute I saw this building set I knew we had to try it - and I was not disappointed! This set arrived quickly, well packaged, in excellent condition, and ready to build. The instructions are included, but it is a fairly intuitive set. Make sure you pay attention to the dimensions, as this is not a large scale set when completed, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in adorableness! This is ideal for display and could fit in effortlessly with other collectibles from your favorite Mouse based theme parks. This set is designed for builders with patience, so keep that in mind when you are considering what age range to buy this for. The colors are wonderful, the scale is perfect, and the finished product truly is a reminder of the Happiest Place on Earth. I highly recommend it and consider it a fantastic value at this price. A similar big name set would be at least twice as much.

The media could not be loaded. I loved doing this but I miss understood the description somehow lol I built all 8 bags thinking they were to be linked together to make the 1 castle but that was not the case. So I took all 8 apart and made the big castle which is so cute! It reminded me of Cinderella castle at magic Kingdom (Disney world)! I am excited to say that the instructions were also easy to read. My daughter and I are building together, very fun but also frustrating when you are missing a lot of the pieces you need.

Directions were unclear at first, but just know it's 2 separate directions. One side to build 8 separate pieces and the other side to build the one big castle.Cute little castle. Fun to build.
