This thing is great it's a perfect size it has a wonderful weight to it it's fully metal and it does exactly what it's supposed to do what more could you want? Extremely easy to use it's made out of metal so obviously it's sturdy and from everything form of verification/calibration I have, it is accurate!! It's functionally a lifesaver lol just a few days before buying this I had bought another one at about half price that was all plastic and I really love that one it was also great but here's the difference and what makes this one worth twice the money even if it wasn't made out of stainless steel, it measures two places past the decimal point in millimeters!! That is A BIG DEAL or at least it is to me and make my own lock pics and turning tools as well as make alterations to "store bought" tools and it is an absolute must have at least if you want to rid yourself fear doubt and anxiety of removing too much material this is absolutely my favorite toy ever!! Can't recommend them enough even if your doing some "real" or serious jobs that require/demand precision. The box it's comes with is also pretty nice tho, I don't think the pieces that keep it closed will last long because the hing for them is made out of the flash from the molding process so it's so thin you can see through it. If you're not familiar with molding or the term, flash or flashing is the excess plastic that will squeeze out of the mold sometimes it's very thin and is usually just brushed off or removed by hand once the item is removed from the mold just about everyone has seen it before whether they realize it or not and it is a bit thicker than average flashing would be but still I don't imagine it lasting very long so unless I'm actually transporting it I don't snap them shut if it's just going to be laying where it's at and occasionally opened up used and then replaced I just leave it lying with the tabs unclasped to prevent unnecessary wear and tear hopefully extending their life. And if/when they do happen to break your average size rubber band is more than efficient to fix the issue. But even if this didn't come with a box at all I would still be thrilled and be leaving the same review also it comes as a small screwdriver which is Handy and a couple extra batteries. If you need precision measurements buy this thing!!

I honestly didn’t expect much when I ordered this digital caliper — just needed something cheap and functional for some light garage and DIY work. But I was really surprised by how solid and accurate it is right out of the box.The stainless steel body feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some budget tools. The digital display is clear and easy to read, and the measurements have been consistently accurate within the tolerances I need. I even double-checked it against a couple of higher-end calipers, and it held up impressively well.It also came with a decent storage case and an extra battery, which was a nice touch. For the price, this is an incredible value. Perfect for hobbyists, tinkerers, or anyone who just needs a reliable measuring tool without spending a ton.Definitely exceeded my expectations!

I bought these to be abused around the house as needed and for some 3d printing. These are the best cheap calipers I have found. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and MONEY ON PLASTIC ONES. THEY SUCK! BUY THESE!!The fractions measurement on it is actually very nice! Measures to the closest 1/128”. They come with TWO SPARE batteries and one already installed. They measure to the 5 ten thousandths but I definitely wouldn’t trust that. I compared them with my very expensive mitutoyo calipers that I use for work and they were within 1 thou or so for the measurements I did and was repeatable. They are nice and heavy and seem sturdy. And for the slightly more price over plastic. WELLLL WORTH IT. They are fairly smooth, will oil up and get them nice and smooth but have been a great addition to my tools at home!

I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of these. I needed something quickly for a project when my old ones suddenly crapped out. I'm not a machinist, just need something reasonably accurate to match hardware or check specs for metalsmithing & woodworking; so I picked these based on reviews & next-day shipping. For 15 bucks I assumed some component might be plastic, but apart from the case, these seem to be solid steel. Movement is smooth, readings are accurate, it came with a battery installed & 2 spares, which I didn't expect. I'm knocking a star off only for the fact that there is a crazy amount of play in the thumb wheel - like 1/32" up & down & side-to-side - apparently by design? You have to fiddle for a sec to make sure it's making contact. Once you use it for a bit you get the hang of it, so it's fine, especially for the price; but it's not an issue I've encountered in other cheaper models. All in all, these are way better than expected, and perfectly fine for all but the most technical uses.
