Great maps at detailing road details.

I used a combination of a Route 66 guidebook and the maps. I figured out how many miles I wanted to drive based on how much time it would take to see what I want to see. The guidebook had lots of info, then I marked what I really wanted to see on the maps including lodging info. Then I made lodging reservations. I'm ready to hit the road in September!

I will be using these maps as I travel Route 66. They are very detailed how to stay on the route.

The maps were helpful at finding sections of Route 66, but could be better. For example, much of 66 is now a frontage road along I 44 or I 40, but that's not noted in the descriptions. And there is no scale on the maps so one can 't judge distances without looking at a regular highway map and comparing known distances on it with unknown distances on the Route 66 maps. Less than 20 miles in Kansas is the same length on the map as over 400 miles in New Mexico. Still, this set was the best we could find, and served their purpose.

Easy to follow route. Like the way it is organized by states.
