TL;DR - Strong odor, good taste, high in water content. Able to deliver medicine without forcing it down throat. 10/10My kitty contracted megacolon, where the intestines can no longer naturally work, creating life threatening bowel obstructions, requiring regular liquid medicine.I was not going to traumatize and put her in danger by forcing it down her throat.So after trying many ways, she settled on salt free tuna juice to mix the medicine in.I eventually moved to mixing Churu liquid treats for delivering her medicine. Much healthier than tuna juice. Goal 1 done.BUT, the most important part was shifting her to a wet food diet only, with nothing that has grain in it or Carrageenan.I tried all sorts of brands, except the cheap ones. Spending HUNDREDS finding something she would eat with no coaxing or finger feeding her for a hour.I found Weruva in a smaller pet store, and gave it a go. I bought the Chicken, Duck & Turkey Pate, which is rather pungent. It took some time mixing it into her water to slowly transition her from dry food.But she eventually stopped eating dry food in favor of Weruva's taste and smell.Goal 2 completed, second medicine easily mixed in with some water.Afterwards she became stable, able to eat and pass waste.That was about 8 years ago, which is incredible with her condition.She is around 15 and still has the energy of a younger cat.I recommend, 10/10 customer for life.

My cat is the pickiest cat on the planet but she seems to love this food a lot the ingredients are good healthy and natural It is a little pricey but you do get larger cans It is like real food it looks good it's easy just to dump into the bowl does not cause a lot of mess or sloppiness I usually split a can in half for my cat half in the morning half in the evening It is a better alternative to some of the cheaper foods even though it is a little pricey it's definitely worth it and I love that it's family-owned

The large pieces of protein in these are sort of startling. Like, wow - that's a massive piece of fish.Cats are happy. Healthy and have great coats. Not much more to ask for.The crack of the can bribgs them running.

I have a rescue cat that i apparently over fed. He was 4 lbs over weight and my vet gave me a partial list of foods listed by calories and protein. This food was on that list, my cat likes it, and he lost 3 lbs. in 7 months, and I think he has since lost that last one. I think this is really important for cat owners to know.

My cat's love this food, I learned that wet food is overall healthier for your cat to be on. I had to do the math on spreadsheets comparing all the options of cat food and cost for the year vs. amount of meals, this was the cheapest option by 600$ compared to other competing brands. So being able to give my cat a vet recommended food brand is affordable for me.I extend this to 4 meals by adding a little bit of dry food to the meals.This specific can has a bummer, it gives my cat the runs horribly. But I believe she is just more sensitive to pumpkin than others. Thankfully they package the food so that I can scrape off the pumpkin, leaving an option if she has constipation going on. Just beware of that issue being a possibility.Five stars is given because price comparison is the best for a highly recommended brand from a vet, (which some have issues with giving fish due to possibility of mercury poisoning but sometimes there are extreme views) all 3 of my cats love it, and one was a difficult to transition off of dry food. Know gravy types do make the food like giving your pet a big mac more so. While I won't be buying this specific flavor I am sticking with the brand.Crunch the numbers yourself and see that a great brand of food is not out of your price range.

All of my cats are huge tuna cat food eaters. They LOVE tuna. But they won't touch ANY of these flavors of tuna. They barely give it a whiff and either walk away or start to bury it. Not that I blame them. I have never seen tuna in such a putrid shade of dark brown in my life. Extremely unappetizing, both to me and ALL 9 of our cats.The only ones who will eat this cat food are the possums and raccoons outside.Usually, my cats like Weruva. I was very happy to see that they started putting their food into 5.5oz cans, but these flavors were a huge bust. It seems that Weruva only puts their subpar flavors into larger cans. The palatable ones are only offered in the tiny cans or pouches, for a premium price.Extremely disappointing waste of money.
