Not exactly the "light reading" I like at night
Bought for a class in school. Not exactly the "light reading" I like at night, but it's interesting enough that I could get through it for class.

Wyman presents a new story of the US immigrant.
I kept turning pages to see what happens next to our cousins that returned to their mother countries. The US was certainly not utopia for all that came here. Wyman stays tight and true to his subject, but the words flow so easily I read the book in one sitting.

Returning migrants - a neglected field
This is a well written and absorbing account of the migrants who went to America from different parts of Europe but who, for various reasons, returned home again. It is not generally known that around a quarter of all who emigrated came back. The book provides an excellent and well researched introduction to this important topic, which is relevant to modern day migrations.
