They really DO come up small, so buy larger than you think you will need
I love my Brooks. I mean I really love my Brooks. They've always been the shoes I've worn for running and training ever since I started running in 2006. I tried other makes, and I liked Saucony, but the Brooks, well, it was love for me - obviously I put the shoes through hell so they probably didn't feel the same, but they served me so well. My last pair had finally almost fallen apart, so it was time to get a new pair.I bought this colour scheme because they were cheaper - I would normally go for standard colours. But that isn't my point...My point is most DEFINITELY take notice of the reviews. I was hesitant to order larger than usual because my feet are small anyway, but I'm so glad I did. I take a 5 normally, so I split the difference and got a 5.5. To be honest, I could have bought a 6 and they would have still been good. When I got them out of the box I was nervous cos they looked so small, and they are very small around the toes, but they have just the right amount of give, and so they are fine. If I was doing a lot of downhill running however, I think a 6 would have been the better option.Having said all that, they did exactly what Brooks always do, for me - fit comfortably from the moment I put them on. I've never had a single blister from Brooks shoes (and no, I'm not being paid to say any of this - if only). They just give great support and cushioning.Just do bear in mind that they come up small. It will save you the nuisance of having to send them back and get a larger pair. Other than that, they're awesome.

Great shoe, £40 cheaper on here than their official site!
I am a size 5 and after reading reviews opted for a 5.5. They fit perfectly.Great support when running, for someone with flat feet who suffers from over pronation these seriously improved it.Haven't had them long so not sure on durability. Comfortable, nice thick soles.Would buy again.

Amazing fot flat feet
I've got flat feet and always struggle with trainers that give me enough support when exercising. Did some research and these had the best reviews for this purpose and now they've arrived and I've worn them a few times to exercise I'm pretty pleased with my purchase. They aren't want you would call subtle but I love the colours scheme. Will be buying these again and definitely recommend especially if you have flat feet!

and they hug my feet like no other brand
I ordered 1/2 size up and it fits perfectly. Irobably could have gotten away with a full size up with extra room for big toe.If I was running downhill I would have insisted on a bigger fit (ie a full size up), but my runs surfaces aren't hilly so half a size up was enough.I already used these for the passed week: as usual, Brooks running shoes are snug, cushioned, and they hug my feet like no other brand. This is my preferred running brand, for sure!

very good buy!
this is my second pair that I ordered. but this time I got the sizing right! first time i read the reviews and I ordered one size and half big which was too big! still it was wonderful. this time I ordered size 6 which is one size bigger than my normal size. fantastic! everyone should have one pair of these trainers. it is soooooo good.

Comfortable enough to walk in
Comfortable enough to walk in, but I didn't buy them to walk in. I bought them for running. And I cant run in them. My first pair of brooks and I'm a little disappointed as I'd heard good things about the brand. I am size 7 in all other trainers I have bought, but these a size 7, although they fit, are tight at the toe. Very neat fit. I am hoping they stretch otherwise I can't wear them for the purpose I bought them for. Disappointed with them.

and my feet are not exactly narrow)- they are quite supportive and comfortable. I used to have ankle pains after 8-9 ...
Except for the fact that they don't let you choose the width (it comes in standard width, which is quite generous, and my feet are not exactly narrow)- they are quite supportive and comfortable. I used to have ankle pains after 8-9 Km, and that doesn't happen anymore. just needed more support. I also don't need a supportive insole I used to insert to all running shoes. The size I chose was exactly 1 size more than my fancy shoes and it's perfect for long runs, with room for all toes to spread. very happy.

Very slippery I had a fall
I've always loved Brooks but these were terrible. The tread is kind of plasticy on the sole and very slippery. I went out in the rain and had a bad fall as they were so slippery. I almost cracked open my skull. Even in the dry they are not firm on the ground. I haven't been able to wear them. What a waste of almost £100
