The best thing I ever got myself . Cooks great easy clean up , stake comes out like a stake house . I think every home should have one

I bought this for my Dad for Christmas and he got it before Thanksgiving. He had one about 5 years ago, but the dome cracked (a problem with the NuWave). He still had everything from his old NuWave so we used the extension ring and we cooked a 12 lb turkey in the NuWave and it was done in about 1 1/2 hours. It was very good. Nice and brown and juicy. I'm hoping he will now cook more for himself as my mom passed away about 4 years ago and he has a tendency to eat a lot of sandwiches. One of the issues my Dad was having is leaving things in the oven or on the stove and forgetting about it. The NuWave shuts off automatically so that will help him to not burn his house down. This was so easy to use, and quick cooking I may have to buy one for me someday.

Oh my goodness, I am so happy I found this appliance. I really love it and use it at least once a day. It is a bit bulky but I don't care. I leave it on my counter (because I'm always using it!). I find I'm using my big oven and microwave less. This is crazy easy to use. My son took to it right away (he is 13). He found it's the best thing to use to make "grilled" cheese sandwiches (he uses no butter, just wants the cheese melted and the bread crispy. I found I like that too!Okay, some info: this will heat quickly to 350 degrees F. With THIS model, you can set the temp up to 350 degrees (other models there is a "level" button that you can select. I like being able to put in '325' and not 'level 7' (because I'm not sure what temp '7' will give me). Then select the time for cooking and walk away. It will beep at you when done. And there is a quick "reheat" feature that really is good.This is more like an oven than a microwave so keep that in mind when putting containers in it. Plastic will melt.I love the browning that you can get (I do sometimes put foil on top for much of the cooking and then remove to get that beautiful golden top color).I do keep the metal rack, upside down, in my nuwave and set my food on top of that. I do this so that the food is further from the heating element but air can circulate underneath. I did try the frozen chicken to table recipe and it worked and was so yummy.Do wipe down/clean up the plastic dome or oils will stick and then, as they bake on, it's harder to clean. Generally clean up is easy.The only CON is that the plastic dome developed cracks within the first year of use. A replacement dome was like $50. I thought it made more sense just to get a new appliance. So far this one is doing great (using it for 4+ months). I would highly recommend this product.

Great appliance, use every day, very good for heating children's food, much better, faster and cheaper than using a full size oven, this was a replacement for one that gave out after 10 years of use. It is not one of those appliances that never gets used after the first month.
