Greatly improved, easy to use watch band pins
The quick release spring bars (a.k.a., as watch band pins) are GREAT. Very easy to use.

Provide versatility
I bought these to use for watches that I want to install nato straps, but also want to use quick release leather straps. They work fine.

Perfect for intended use
I have a small collection of nice watches and I'm a fan of NATO and French Parachute straps so these little spring bars make life much easier. Hard to imagine the days of fussing with non quick release spring bars for any type of strap really. These seem really well-made and very easy to use.

23mm for third-party Garmin Venu 2 watch band
I recently ordered a 3rd party band for my Garmin Venu 2 and the pins that came with it were weak and too short. These Barton pins are sturdier and have a spring with decent strength. (However, not nearly as strong as the springs that came with my genuine Garmin band). The Garmin Venu 2 has a 22mm band, but I ordered the 23 mm because the Venu 2 is really 22.5 mm, and the 23mm I ordered fit perfectly--no play back and forth. (This is the 2nd set of spring bars I have ordered from 2 different companies, and both were actually 0.5mm shorter than advertised.) I hope they are similar in quality to the Garmin spring bars and will last for a long time.

SUPER STRONG
I ASKED BARTY WHY I SHOULD BE A CUSTOMER WHEN IT COMES TO "THEIR" SPRING BARS. THERE RESPONSE WAS VERY GOOD. I DONT REMBER THE DETAILS BUT THEY SOLD ME. I HAVE A ABOUT 60 WATCHES AND IM LOOKING TO REPLACE WHAT I POSSIBLY CAN WITH THESE SPRING BARS. CANT GO WRONG AS LONG AS YOUR WATCH BRACELET ACCEPTS/SUPPORTS THEM.

Low reviewers miss the point
These are primarily meant for two purposes: 1) quick release spring bars for use with NATO straps, and 2) replacement spring bars for QUICK RELEASE watch straps. The latter have a notch that is cut out of the material on the side that allows for the quick release lever to protrude. If your strap is NOT a quick release strap, you need STANDARD spring bars (and a spring bar tool), not these spring bars. Spoken another way, if your strap TRULY IS a quick release strap, then these spring bars will work because there is a notch cut out on the side to allow for the quick release knob. If you find yourself cutting your strap to make these spring bars work, you probably do NOT have a quick-release strap, and probably should have purchased standard spring bars and a spring bar removal tool. Otherwise they work great. I have a SNK809 (18mm lug width), and I'm frequently swapping straps for it, and these work great when I want to put on a Barton NATO (which I use for rugged activities). Takes much less time and stress with quick release vs. using standard spring bars with a removal tool. Thanks, Barton!

I Didn’t Order The Correct Size
I believe that this a good product. I miscalculated and I didn’t order the proper size.

Where have these been all my life ? !
I had just bought a new diver and decided to go with the NATO strap. I picked out a nice bond style. The diver came with dive straps and with a tiny bit of effort was able to remove them along with the spring bars with my removal tool. And then it happened! After an hour I could not in any shape or form reinstall the spring bars. Now I know myself pretty good and when I get to the point that I'm so frustrated I'm sweating I know it's time to stop and regroup. Regrouping for me was going back to Amazon to see if there was a tool I could buy to help me reinstall the spring bars. Well after about 15 minutes I came across the Barton page. The more I read the more I wondered why everybody didn't use these. But being cautious I ordered the 4 pack and waited. Well they came and in approximately 5 seconds I had one installed and the 2nd one installed shortly after! These are with out a doubt the best invention watches ever had. This takes all the strain of trying to reinsert it and after maybe a couple spring bars launch themselves to a secret place only spring bars know about because you never find them. Well, I put on my diver on the new NATO strap and it looks gorgeous. But I couldn't go any further without writing a review and I'm not a review guy. I ordered more and plan on re-installing all my other straps. If you're tired of fighting with spring bars do yourself a big favor get a Barton Quick release spring bar. It puts fun back changing out straps and I rate these a thousand thumbs up!
